if you could have one wish come true, what would it be?

just one wish, that you would have to live w/ for the rest of your life, whether if be winning the lottery, finding true love, world peace, etc...what would you choose?.

wanted to be sure my fluff was clearly labeled as such.. something in chat last night got me to thinking about some of the strange mixed drinks i have willingly partaken of over the years.see if anybody can beat these.... (4) trash can punch-usually mixed in large quantities consisting of red hawaiian punch,mello yellow,pieces of fresh fruit,and ample quanities of everclear.

(3)cherry limeaides w/vodka.

(2)dr pepper w/brandy.

Oh, yes!! Junior year of high school. Me and my friend wanted to get "shit faced" before the school dance. We swiped a bottle of creme de cocoa from her aunt. There we were hiding in the bushes drinking straight from the bottle with a coke bottle chaser. Yuckko!! But it seemed worth it at the time.

GOSSIP In the Kingdom Hall

the overwhelming amount of gossip that circulated through my kingdom hall was a major factor in my decision to stop attending meetings.

every meeting, every day of field service, and every gathering was plagued with vicious rumors that people told to keep themselves entertained.

surprisingly, the pioneers and elder's wives were the worst of everyone.

I would say that second to gluttony, gossip came in a close second. They were all a bunch of fat-ass gossipers. But that didn't have anything to do with me leaving. But it did have a lot to do with not being friends with any of them. Or wanting to go out in service with them, or pretty much have anything to do with them.

i got a phone call from an ex dub i used to hang out with 20 years ago when we were young bucks.

My husband feels the same as you. He won't let me leave the house if one of our daughter's friends is over. Because he also believes that if you are accused of something like that, regardless of whether you did it or not, your reputation is forever tarnished.

Circuit Assembly Bklyn NY -Saturday 4/6/02

my sister went to the circuit assembly this past weekend here in bklyn ny.. they had a young sister on the platform helping to promote pioneering.the interesting point about this is that this young sister is attending college full time and actually said this in front of the audience.she brought out that she is going to college full-time and that since she "has only one more year left, she will wait to pioneer when she is in her last year of college because maybe then it probably won't be so hard.

" these were her exact words.. i find this to be very interesting.

those of us who have done parts or experiences or talks for circuit assemblies know that each talk and each part is scrutinized in practice sessions prior to the assembly in front of the circuit overseers.

I went to an assembly in Seattle or Tacoma (I can't remember which one) in 1987 or 1988 where nobody got baptized. They still gave the talk and said what the questions would have been had anyone been getting baptized.

The article does not say who took the pictures. It could have been the teenagers taking pictures of each other. Maybe the adults didn't even know they did it.

And yes the elders should be above it all, but they are human after all. And the last time I checked farting in someones face is not a sin. Rude yes, a sin no.
