So, none of this makes any sense unless you're familiar with "Exjw Smurf Girl". Let's just say that this is par for the course for her.

You Tube Questions about Watchtower Property
by Listener inkim and mikey made a youtube yesterday claiming that a business called watchtower property co. was connected to the watchtower.
they used a recording done by youtuber smurf girl of a call she made to a julie at the company.
i believe the call was doctored as it has her saying that (no) "we're connected to the jehovahs witnesses directly.

Leaked David Spane Apostate Rant? (Upcoming Lloyd Evans Video)
by Jofi_Wofo inlloyd has a reminder set for a "leaked" video that he will be reviewing tomorrow, but it lacks details in the description.
does anyone know what video he is referring to, or is this an upcoming loyd evans exclusive?.
i find leaks exciting, especially if it's something that was never meant to be public and puts some serious egg on the faces of the blundering body..

Thankfully, the GB aren't eduated enough to understand The Streisand Effect. They're shooting themselves in the foot.

It turns out that this is a convention talk that was just leaked a bit earlier than WT had planned on releasing it. It's the absolute most blood boiling talk I have ever had the displeasure to listen to.
If Watchtower were to release this talk in "Simplified English", it would translate as follows:
"We... are a cult.
We're a cult. We're a cult. We're a cult, cult, cult.
A cult, we are."

by pistolpete inimagine the "faithful" jws who are now having to talk to this person by court order or face the consequences----legally.. exjws are spreading the news and now some exjws who have been disfellowshipped for years are starting to research to see if this is an option in their country.
here are the articles, you need to translate in google.

Hm... no.
No court in the developed world is going to order citizens to forcibly associate with people whom they do not wish. I'd have to read the actual legal documents to figure out what's going on, but I'm absolutely confident that that's not it.
I don't see a way for governments to stop religious shunning without committing extreme human rights violations along the way. The best they can do is strip religions that cause grave harm to their members, and ex-members, of all special protections and privileges.
I've heard the argument before that Watchtower is guilty of incitement to hatred against former members. That may be true, but hatred isn't a crime, and incitement to something that isn't a crime isn't a crime [sic].
Civil claims under tort law may be in order, but I don't think that "____ is no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses" holds up under the legal charge of slander, even if we all know what it REALLY means. They deliberately word things in a certain way to avoid getting bitten by it later.

If you could pick out critical errors to the JWS religion what would it be ?
by Rocketman123 inmany that have come to this forum have left the jws religion and moved on with their lives but from a outsider's viewpoint what do think makes the jws religion wrong or incorrect as a active christian faith ?.
somethings come to mind such as its long continuous end times/armageddon soon doctrine which has really been a core doctrine for decades going right back to its beginning .. maybe they should have adopted the stance as other christian based faiths and adhered to jesus's own words when he said " no one knows of the time not even he ".

Another thought came to mind.
The belief in a paradise earth is well and good. However, using that belief as rationale for not trying to improve your community and world now is a miserable and hurtful teaching. If God is going to take care of everyone in the future, then that only leaves us humans to take care of each other now.
Not to be forgotten is how unfair it is to expect people to hedge all of their life's bets on a future new world that we can't verify is true until we're already there. There is much more evidence that the world we currently live in is palpably, tangibly real than there ever could be that a future new world awaits or that one is even possible.
Why is it so wrong, even for people of faith, to live the one life we're currently living to the fullest? Then let the paradise come, if it will come, and let eternal nonexistence come, if it will come. That is, in fact, EXACTLY what the Bible tells us to do. (Ecclesiastes 9:10)

The claim that there is no human leader.
Oddly, and sinisterly, this is used as an excuse for why the organization can not be held accountable for all of the times it has been wrong and all of the people that have been hurt. It also justifies why what the religion teaches is always "the truth," even when it's wrong.

Will there be a sense of urgency in 30 years?
by neat blue dog init's pretty easy to see how current events would have any jw convinced the end is imminent, but i just don't see how there could be a major push for zealous service, pioneering, etc.
decades into the future.
even if (when) world events happen periodically that could scare the r&f, there are now countless hours of hd video of jw leaders saying how close the end is.

It raises the interesting question of what new light will come out along the way.
- When Jesus implied that one generation can be expanded into two overlapping generations, he evidently meant that each of the overlapping generations can also be its own set of two overlapping generations. How will YOU spend your time in the remaining months before the end of this set of overlapping generations in preparation for the beginning of the next set of overlapping generations?
- We deeply thank our creator, Jehovah for revealing to us the true meaning of his word, the Bible through our new publication "What does the Bible Really, Really, Really, Really Teach? No, Seriously, This Time, We Really, Really Got it Right." Is it not exciting to finally be able unlock the divine secrets of biblical types, antitypes, prototypes, stereotypes, teletypes, astrotypes, wumbotypes, ninatypes, pintatypes and the santamariatypes?

YEAR 2051 - SOME KINGDOM HALL SOMEWHERE
"...and friends, what do we learn from the display of faith on the part of our dear brothers and sisters who lived through the COVID-19 pandemic? They knew that they were living in the final part of the final part of the days- shortly before the last day of the last days. That was 30 years ago. Just think about how much closer that makes us, today!"

Having It Both Ways
by Sea Breeze in1. when individuals leave the organization for conscience reasons, it is evidence that god is shepherding and protecting the flock by doing a sifting work.
when people leave another christian religion it is evidence that the religion is morally corrupt and unable or unwilling to provide spiritually for their members.. 2. when a christian from another denomination lies, he is acting according to his own disposition being from the father of the lie.
when a jehovah's witness lies, he is proving his loyalty to jehovah and fulfilling his sacred obligation to engage in spiritual warfare.. 3. during times of rapid growth the organization claims this is evidence of gods approval as he "speeds it up in his own time".

The organization is rife with double standards. The list of how this manifests is never ending.
When another religion teaches things that are untrue, that's evidence that it is a false religion. Which means they are worshipping Satan. Which means they will be destroyed in the great tribulation. LEAVE THIS RELIGION ASAP!!!
When JWs teach things that are untrue... the brother's are imperfect, but they are trying their best. The light gets brighter. DON'T LEAVE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!
We should be deeply concerned about any facet of modern life that has its origin in occult and pagan practices, and take care to avoid it. It doesn't matter if nobody has associated it with the occult or paganism for thousands of years, you must stay away from it lest you allow Satan and his demons a way in!
Also, pay no attention to the fact that WT doctrine was originally based on the occultic practices of numerology and pyramidology. In fact, let's just keep this between us, ok? No need to scare away Bible studies by letting them know our true history.
