I don't know if Trump is a good christian or not but we need a wall to protect our boarders. If you don't like it you can leave. Letting in illegals whole sale is for the stupid. All they do is suck off the welfare system and then bring in crime and drugs. Not the best and brightest. Playing the race card as "brown " people is only showing your lack of argument.

A non-Witnes who accepts 607 BC?
by careful inan eyebrow raiser to be sure.
i can understand the clergyman being so baptist that he'd still use the name jehovah since it was popular in english and german churches for a long time during and after the reformation, but 607?.
see ¶ 6 under the heading "the historicity of the book of daniel".

Tattoos
by new boy ini don't really have an opinion on the them one way or another.. when i was growing up the only place you saw them were on old ex military guys.
they had eagles with american flags or a heart with a knife through it.
some were so old and faded out you didn't know what they were supposed represent anymore.

Governing Body Just got Spanked
by Bill Covert inyesterday in watchtower documents there was published "flawed decrees conceal criminals.
barbara anderson examined the rnwt revision of lev.5:1 and revealed the wtb&ts to be deceptive as to applying it to congregation members being required to "tattle" on their brothers to expose sin.
she shows that is just not so as lev.5:1 has nothing to do with tattling.

Do you miss that initial "high" ??
by stuckinarut2 indo you remember the first time you found out "the truth about the truth"?.
yes, it was confronting, shocking and life altering.
yes it was hard to deal with.. but, along with that, many have said that they experienced a sense of thrill, euphoria, or joy when realising the facts about the religion that held us captive mentally and physically for so long.. it was liberating to learn some of the controversial teachings etc.

My impressions of the cart witnessing
by Sour Grapes ini have watched tons of youtube videos of our exjdub friends approaching and talking to the jdub manikins at their carts as they give a great witness to the world by sipping their hot lattes, updating their social media, chit chatting to each other, and the most important thing of getting their time in, counting their hours.. when the jw's see someone approach with a camera they do several things, they will turn their backs on the person, or look at the person with a frown and act like the person isn't even there.
the witlesses refuse to answer simple, clear, and precise questions.
when i was an elder i loved to get into discussions and debates with trinitarians, priest, clergymen and those who were born again.

I remember talking to my great uncle who was around in the cult when they used phonographs. He would brag about putting his foot in the door and the house holder was going to hear the sermon one way or another. That carried down for a lot of years and even the persistence of the going from door to door knocking on the same doors over and over took a lot of energy and determination. Now they roll out a cart sit there like a bump on a log and play on their smart phone. They are getting fat and lazy. The preaching work is dying off the way I see it.
