  in 2 weeks we will be announcing major changes in northern ohio congregations and there is quite the buzz in the area about it.

  just talked to a jdub from the detroit area that just underwent similar changes, and they mentioned it has been "quite exciting" to get to meet new brothers and sisters.

  so besides the cash benefit of selling a couple kingdom halls in the process.

  time to revive this well known, and often used jw illustration!.

  "if you are in desperate need of a drink of water, and the glass in front of you is 99% clean, but contains just 1% poison, would you drink it??".

  how often we heard this trotted out from the platform.. recently though, i have heard many examples of still-in jws sharing their observations about things that don't seem quite right with the current activities, direction and culture of the organization.

  I moved from my home town 50% because I was shunned even though I was not DFed. I was considered apostate. 50% because in North Michigan its way too damn cold and too much snow. Screw that crap. My cousins would look at me like I just kicked their mother in the crotch. Just don't need this crap.
