I don't know if they do this any longer but back in the day they had a special section at an assembly sectioned off for DFed people who would have to wear a ribbon that said disfellowshipped. Do they still do this and what was the rules on DFed talking to DFed at the assembly?

JW funerals are sick, they are recruitment talks not funerals. Second I can remember a CO giving a talk at a CA and pulling a skull out of a paper bag saying if you wanted to talk to your DFed children or family members and Jehovah was in charge of this system this is what you would be talking to. What a fucking douche nozzle.

I think this will backfire and is backfiring on them. I heard one recording where Tony tight pants was followed as he walked on the street and had to dash into a door to get away. 20 years ago no one knew but a few of the rank and file who the GB was and not many photos were around. Now they are known and can be chased around as they walk out and about. I see the cult in terminal decline. I don't see it gone in a few years but who knows I thought Germany would take several years and bam all over.

JW compassion?
by William Penwell ini have a nephew that has just recently being diagnosed with a life threatening disease through bad choices he has made in his life over the last 20 years.
now he has asked myself and my sons to be there for him and without being judgemental we have being up at the hospital every other day for the last couple of weeks.
now this is the part where i am just pissed right off.. one of my nephews other cousins goes to the hospital and starts giving him a guilt trip, saying that this was all his own fault that she couldn't talk to him for the last 20 years and his sickness now is all because he left jehooba organization blah blah blah.

So my wife is upset her MIPI father is broke because of being a witness.

her mother has alzheimer and is in a care facility for the rest of her life.
between medicare and caid she is paid for the care.

My wife said that her dad said last visit that he was encouraging my wife's niece [her sisters daughter] to go to collage. That she needed to make money and support her self. Late to the party sure, but its a huge deviation from what he was 35 years ago. If my FIL who was a mind numb kool aid drinker is saying this there are others.

Cha I agree. and I would just move on in my life if not for my wife. I know its hard seeing her mother in a facility and her dad struggling. Even though they brought not the sickness but financial issues on them-self and I will say her mother was a fairly arrogant witness in the day. From what I understand her dad does not even mention religion to her when she visits. This is the same guy who went to the elders when we faded out and told them to go make his daughter go to meetings. She was 30 at the time. Its almost like he is running on auto pilot when it comes to meetings and service. The end of the wold is just around the corner is not seeming to be there very strong.
