...... 'It is too horrible to contemplate' ...... BluesBrother
So true. Even when I was a full on believer I couldn't get my head round the scale of it.
It is beyond sickening!
in their sick and twisted bubble that they live in, the jehovahs witnesses clearly have no idea about the logistical nightmare of disposing of 7.5 billion corpses.. when i heard an elder once say that it will be a joy to clear away the wicked from the earth, he actually had a smile on his face.. can they even begin to imagine what 7.5 billion dead men, women, children & babies looks like?.
"let the eye feel no sorrow".
sick bastards..
if only the gb did this!
notice how in this 2 minute video he says that he says he "accepts that abuse has happened" and offers an "unreserved apology" and "will not defend this failure on our part".
he said he is personally available to meet with survivors and to offer a personal apology.
so the wife was watching the latest installment of jw broadcasting and near the end there was a new segment on dating and courtship.
it starts at about the 39 minute mark:.
https://youtu.be/vuir-azsdm0?t=38m52s.
i would like to say i am not in and my wife is a marginal witness at best.
she doesn't say anything bad about the borg or live an amoral lifestyle.
she just doesn't read the bible, or even the tracts anymore and generally has no clue about anything biblical or doctorial related.. i found my wives new card yesterday.
i went to www.sensibus.com and they have 160 different kinds of cheese.
i just do not know which cheese i want to order.
any suggestions?
first i ignored all of the elders phone calls to send my recommendation letter to my new congregation, truth is i had already started my fade and moved across town and didn't have a new congregation.
i deleted all jw friends on facebook.
i also threw away all of my public talks recorded on cd, all literature, even my book bag and my bible.
Like Flipper has posted, you need to fill the void.
As a JW your life revolved around meetings, field service, personal study etc. That amounted to a good few hours each week.
What I did to fill the void was pursue interests. In my case I studied higher education and obtained Chartered membership of my profession. I also enjoy music and play guitar, and enjoy local sightseeing. After work, weather permitting, my wife and I go for walks to keep fit and usually stop off for a coffee at a local cafe on the way back.
just about killed myself with laughter watching this!.
john lydon aka johnny rotten of the sex pistols fame (1970's punk rock band) appearing before judge judy as he's being sued by another musician.
the comments and facial expressions of johnny rotten are hilarious.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtgvldvs_gi.

i remember that we were always encouraged to let everyone at work know that you were one of jw's and therefore would not participate in any of their functions, parties etc.. this i outrightly refused to do.
my reasoning was that i was employed and paid to do a job and therefore my religious beliefs were a personal matter and therefore had nothing to do with my work.
secondly i had to work with these people.

Secondly I had to work with these people. If someone had a birthday, I wished the person a happy birthday and accepted a slice cake offered.
On occasions, I asked my colleagues for advice or assistance with a particular work issue, which they gladly helped me out. If I had snubbed them and threw their generosity back in their face, would they be inclined to help me? I think not!
i found this image on cedars latest article and believe it was originally posted on reddit.
.
you know how the org is always pleading poverty and continuously asking for donations; well how is this for a subtle way of changing lyrics in order to get the publishers to think continually on giving!.
