so after the unqualified success of my last review ( green book ) l thought that l would try again .
l went to see ford versus ferrari / le mans 66 according to where you live .
now l am no petrol head and talk of motor racing usually makes my eyes glaze over but this film is about much more than laps on a circuit .
Nice one 2+2=5 .
I had gotten that far Stan ! However l do suspect that your claim that Sutton was named after you just MAY be a bit fanciful
l use the phrase " all around the Wrekin " . l have been in Tamworth for 40+ years but l guess that you can't take the Brummie out of the girl .

A Brummie is someone born in Birmingham , Staffordshire . Most residents of Sutton Coldfield like to think that they are posh and disassociate themselves from Brum , right Stan ?
Please guys don't give away any more of the plot , let folks see it for themselves .

No , this is based on the true story of the attempt by Ford Motors to build a car to beat Ferrari at the 1966 Le Mans .
lt stays quite true to the actual events only abridging them to get them into what is still over 2 hours of film . 99% 0f the characters are real people and it is , I M H O , a really good watch .

Now l am no petrol head and talk of motor racing usually makes my eyes glaze over but this film is about much more than laps on a circuit . The human drama behind the scenes is fascinating and l really think that Christian Bale as Ken Miles should get some sort of recognition .
So if you are not a fan of motor racing you can still enjoy this film and l did find it very entertaining .

Not so much has been said about the WT's insertion of words not in the original , to change the meaning of the text .
As in putting Jehovah into the text in numerous places when there is no evidence that it was in the original writings .
Or inserting the word " other " into " Col 1: 15-17 to change the meaning .

Welcome to the forum , I'm afraid that l don't meet any of your criteria though . l am a middle to older aged woman who has never been a JW , in fact l am a life long Anglican from England .
l have learnt a lot about the Watchtower religion from this site , and you will get lots of good advice on here .
