i just picked up a few from mark jones as follows:.

i see is that the vast majority of jws don't seem to understand what their religion actually teaches.. the more controversial or embarrassing doctrine - although still official doctrine that has never been rescinded - is just not talked about anymore in the magazines.

Carla l totally agree with your comments .l am a Christian, Anglican , which l may have mentioned a few times :) . Now that l know more about JWs and l say something to my fellow believers they look at me like I've lost my marbles. They really can't wrap their heads around TTATT . They think that I'm exaggerating or just being nasty.
They know that JWs have some different practices to mainstream religion but have difficulty realising that it's a cult .

Thomas is either incapable or disinclined to enter into actual discussion.

i have been on m any different forums, and only carm is similar to this.. all the rest have rather hypocritical trust in god.. this and carm are for those who apostate to the wtbs and to god.. turned off by the gb, or hypocritical examples in the congregation, they drop worshiping god and their belief in the bible... for they know too much,.

that's why scripture isn't discussed, and jws like me, are demonized.. i am cool with that!

maybe some of you will come to their senses!.

So my question is why do you trust the GB on that rather important issue but not on others. Just like your view of Christendom. As you say that your faith was never built on the GB like your wife how do you decide where they are right or where they are wrong ?

Thomas your logic seems all over the place . You state that you have lost faith in the GB . Then you say that the Theology of that same GB is correct .
Yet everything that JWs believe about the Bible comes from the GB , which is why no other church agrees with it .
You made a comment about other churches not letting you think for yourself . Who is worse than the WT for that ? Followers are " strongly discouraged " from reading anything other than JW literature . No questioning teachings , flip flops and inconsistencies in pronouncements.
Do you not realise that what you hold to be the Truth about the Bible is what you have learnt from the GB ? That teaching has been " refined " or completely changed over the history of the WT . How can it be correct ?

Thomas you really are rude and not much of an advertisement for faith . Do you forget that we are told to love our neighbours as ourselves. I'm getting the distinct impression that you don't love yourself much .
Maybe because there is so much cognitive dissonance going on in your head.

Thomas you said " I guess then Truth doesn't matter " . Using a capital letter for Truth means that you are referring to the WT . Is that so ?
You ask which churches lead people to Jesus . Well not the WT who do everything to downgrade Him and push Him into the background.
