So most Christians don't necessarily take the creation story literally.
However this discussion intrigued me and a very little digging produced this among other articles. Another poster said much the same .

Carla l totally agree with your comments .l am a Christian, Anglican , which l may have mentioned a few times :) . Now that l know more about JWs and l say something to my fellow believers they look at me like I've lost my marbles. They really can't wrap their heads around TTATT . They think that I'm exaggerating or just being nasty.
They know that JWs have some different practices to mainstream religion but have difficulty realising that it's a cult .

by DoubtingThomas ini have been on m any different forums, and only carm is similar to this.. all the rest have rather hypocritical trust in god.. this and carm are for those who apostate to the wtbs and to god.. turned off by the gb, or hypocritical examples in the congregation, they drop worshiping god and their belief in the bible... for they know too much,.
that's why scripture isn't discussed, and jws like me, are demonized.. i am cool with that!

So my question is why do you trust the GB on that rather important issue but not on others. Just like your view of Christendom. As you say that your faith was never built on the GB like your wife how do you decide where they are right or where they are wrong ?
