While I personally am still on my own personal journey.....like most things, there is something here that reminds me of the Simpsons.

There was an episode where Homer starts a blog with crazy conspiracy theories as "Mr X". He ends up getting drugged with the family and taken to "the island" by a man named number 2. There they reveal that since he knows too much, he must stay there in a perpetually drugged state.

He asks, which thing I wrote about ended up being true.

Number 2 "That flu vaccines have mind control additives that whip peple into a shopping frenzy right around the time of the holiday season!"

Homer: "Of course! Its so simple!........wait......no its not......its needlessly complicated.

Number 2 "Yes......Yes it is."

That is the way I feel about this account.

my girlfriend cult handlers have gotten to her.

they suggested she should no longer communicate with someone who's thinking isn't in line with jehovah's organization.

we argued and she told me to go hang myself.

Don't move because of the religion. Move if its the right thing for you. If you need the fresh start, and it makes sense, do it. if its going to make you broke and be a problem, don't. Metatron suggested the high road in relation to your now ex....I agree. confused and alone (who needs to change his name), suggested just stopping. I second that.

You have nothing to prove to anyone. They do not control or dominate you.

Once you realize this, et your actions be what is best for you. It is amazing when you look back and how much you gave other men power over you, even in intangible ways.

...from a school nurse clinical day in my nursing program and asked my wife "how was your day?".

she replies "good, i'm tired though because i was cleaning out the spare room and threw away a bunch of books.".

my ears perked up because she has a habit of trying to decide whether or not i 'need' what i have or should throw it away so i asked "which books?

i'm not sure how else to describe this meeting at my kitchen table.

my elderette ("miss k") arrived with her friend in tow.

i vaguely remember the 2nd lady ("miss w") from the times we went to the kh, but like miss k, we never really talked in depth.

It even ties very nicely into the truth doesn't change theme, as well as the FDS topic quite nicely since the flip flops are very easy to see and discern.

Plus it is basically indefensable. Their "research" will focus on what JW's have been led to focus on which is that it is "bad medicine". But you don't even hav to go there. Because technically it shouldn't matter if it is good or bad medicine. It is a biblical issue, not a medical one from their perspective.

You can slice that up a billion ways. JW's are so arrogant witht his doctrine (i know i was), and it can feed back into what you were doing. I can help. There are some real experts here who can help.....I say blood.

Is the U.N. preparing to attack Religion

about 5 minutes ago i get an article emailed to me from my mother telling me that i need to find a way to get back to jehovah and his saving arm... she read an article in a reputable newspaper that all the friends are using to show that its not just jehovahs witnesses who see religion about to get attacked by the u.n.. it concludes with a link to the article and her desire for me to please read it in light of my recent situation.. .

Too much logic. This is a loosing arguement.

The JW response is that he will "put it into their hearts" to turn on religion, and that essentially with him all things are possible.

Watched 3 season of game of thrones - I want those 25+ hours of my life back

this is the worst series i've ever watched in my life.

whenever things are starting to get smooth and good characters seem to gain advantage, the writers just kill them.

i've wasted 25+ hours of my life watching how the writers make the bad win over the good.. they make you continue watching by planting the seed in your head that "just a few more episodes and everything is gonna be all right", but no, painful death comes upon anyone who is not cruel and perfidious enaugh.

I really like GOT, but the "goog guys" do not get much of a foothold. They set the standard in season 1, and even though from the books I knew the Red Wedding was coming.......it is still very unsettling.

To be honest, that is kind of the way it is supposed to be. Season 4 will be less dark. You can't top the red wedding for shock, and the good guys come back......a little.

I have a friend who is always telling me why they liked or didn't like a movie, and it always seems to be not about the writing, acting, cinematography, or general storyline.......but that something happened to a character they didn't like. So if that is your personality (nothing wrong with that), then go watch things that make you feel they way you know they are going to make you feel.

I don't watch alot of TV. I like GOT, and some other HBO stuff including Girls and VEEP......but the most torturous thing I watch now a days is my Lakers play basketball. I have no desire to see "How I Met Your Mother".

Oh wow It was brother Mozell Mack!? Yeah.....he is a showman. leaves it all ont he stage.

He is part of the black "inner circle" at Bethel. They get together and complain about the racism at the highest levels over a bottle of brandy. I know about those guys from a close friend.

Its a show.....I suspect they know that.

Im new and need help!

hello everybody, before i begin i just wanna say that i have really found alot of great posts on here that have been helpful forme , theres definitely alot of brilliant people here!.

i am a born in jw(24 years old) ive been baptized for 7 years and was a ministerial servant for 4 years(i am no longer one).

recently me and my parents have have woken up to ttatt(about 2 months ago).

Hey there. Welcome! I discovered it was nonsense, with a wife who had pioneered 16 years running while we were in our early 30's. You can imagine what a mess that was. It was very difficult.

Kids only make it more complicated. I suppose you could play the game and marry her and see where it goes, but playing that game and not being authentic is going to take a toll of your life. Why not suggest instead of "taking a break", that you guys get together for a bible study. You pick a topic one week, she picks one the next, and you guys see if your world views are compatable. if not, you go on your way.

Honestly man, it could be alot worse if you guys get together, and you try to work this out on the back end. So it would hurt, but walking away may be the way to go.

To you to I say....."widen out". Lol.
