  JW Apologists Keep Commenting

  i just posted a new article entitled "jw apologists keep commenting".

  there seems to be an influx of asleep jws that are trying to fight back against what they perceive to be threats to their faith by trying to refute our websites and forums.. several are currently making the rounds voting down webpage comments and youtube videos, as well as the dissident jw blogosphere.. here's a screengrab from the article:.

  Hey guys,

  So I am stilll sort of a newbie, but have made some leaps. As a former pretty active "apologist" (ahem), let me say, that the ol "why are you even here" thing, is a dead end.

  Pointing out o them that they are doing something "wrong" only tells them you would prefer they not be there, because they are exposing you!

  I know that seems backwards, but it doesn't do any good at all. Some will remin apologists, some will end up questioning things as I have. i would rather encourage them unemotionally to discuss what they don't agree with, with you. It might get somewhere. If you feel like pointing out they shouldn't be there, then do so passive aggresively if you get my drift.

  Just my 2 cents since I have been in their position, (although I do like to think I was more eloquent).

  Books that make you go hmm....

  it's occurred to me that i have been reshaped by the books i have read, taking my new knowledge for granted, and forgetting that those around me have not been on the same journey.

  as a consequence sparks fly, as iron sharpening iron, as we strive to understand each other (or to insist that we are not the same).

  there are a few books that stand out, as i refer to them over and over again.

  The more I think about this, the more it is simply madness. I mean, this is absolutely huge! Ina time when politically and socially womens productive and social rights are considered on a marge stage, the ridiculousness of this extention of the mosaic law into 2012, is just amazing.

  Honestly, this needs to get out there. The Catholic church may be as loony, but they also don't have the benefit of a communal shunning program to enforce the ridiculousness.

  Just amazing. The balls on these people!

  The person is a JW. I don't think the article hid it. If anyone smarter than you confirms what you already believe to be so, it just hammers in the indoctrination.

  i have heard it all now, or at least up to now, the borg never ceases to surprise me.

  so when jesus was talking to his deciple from the cross (opps stake), "this is your mother" or something like that, was he talking about the borg?

  My buddy in his Ministerial Training School said his instructors would use this term freely, and basically everyone in there would follow suit. He was staying with me at the time, and said it just seemed odd. He saw others using the term just to get in good with the instructors. But of course he finished, was groomed for circuit work, and serves as an elder.

  On more than one occasion he has told me he hopes the whole place burns to the ground and F___ the Governing Body. But I ask him why he is still there, and he says, where else am I going to go?

  about some righteous jw that found a bag o' money and returned it to the original owner--praise be jehovah!

  can i get an amen?--as if no one else on earth would ever do such a thing.

  Just because biblical accounts may seem off to you doesn't mean there is no creator. But regardless, that is your decision to make one way or the other. Stopping your kids rom being indoctrinated is key, but its hard to do halfway.

  Don't rush like Billy said. Take your time, and for goodness sake learn everything you can about your former faith that you didn't know.

  we got a call from a jehovah witness and they were willing to help shovel our drive way.

  i find it strange how these jw's take an interest in our welfare.where as others could care less.

  so i realize not all jw's are bad.if only more of them take a geuine interest in others they would not be so bad.

  Everyone already got it. People are people. These are good people. Them being JW's has nothing to do with it. Some JW's are great people, some are tools, and some are evil. Same goes for the whole of humanity. Appreciate their kindness, tell them you appreciate it, and pay it forward and in return. That is the right thing to do.

  First Recorded "Conscious Class" Talk in the Kingdom Hall

  the governing body is not all powerful and all present ,we are not totally powerless .use your talks to promote christian freedom and tear down their propaganda .use material from publications that promote christian freedom and scriptures that they willingly avoid .use your talks to awake your brothers .

  the following talk uses non of the usual watchtower propaganda and uses scriptures the governing body chooses to avoid .. whether you are an elder ,a ministerial servant ,or just a publisher use your items and your talks at the meeting to awake your brothers and sisters .this talk was given few days ago at the thursday meeting ,based on proverbs 3:5.sorry for the accent ,english is not my mother language.. talk at the kingdom hall.
