  Liberal vs. Conservative mental health study - what do you make of it?

  a pew study from 2020 (but one i just now came upon myself) reported that the more liberal you are, the more likely you are to have a mental health condition.

  the worst suffering group are white females, ages 18-29 where over 56% have admitted to be described by their own doctors as having a mental health condition.

  conservative females of the same age group suffer at less than half that number (27%).. while women tend to have more mental health problems than men (don't be mad at me for saying it, this is what the study reports) it is notable that liberal men have a higher percentage of mental health conditions than conservative women in the same age group.

  l have an american friend from la who has recently been trying very hard to investigate bill gates and his foundation , she has shared quotes from a lot people making very serious accusations against bill .

  Bill Gates appeared to have a carefully curated public persona, as a geeky uncle.

  Turns out he hung around with dodgy people and was inappropriate with women, from all accounts.

  At least now people will maybe stop listening to him for medical advice.

  Canadian Residential School Deaths

  in case you haven't heard, they just discovered the remains of some 215 dead children at a so called canadian residential school.

  they couldn't call it a death-camp could they ... it would be too obvious.. these were where indigenous children were taken, forcibly, in order to "educate" them out of their native customs and languages and make them integrate with society.. unbelievably, this was still going on in the 60s to 90s.. of course the catholic church has their sticky fingers all over it.

  what is it about those creepy bastards?

  Most American tribes sided with the British during the war of independence, perhaps why they fared so badly after.

  The British policy of negotiating treaties and limiting the expansion of the colonies was partly what caused the war.

  I know most American's have been "educated" (indoctrinated) to believe it was about having to pay taxes, but even that is inaccurate - the British removed the tax from their tea to be more competitive, in a bid to bail out the East India company.

  Unbelievably, this was still going on in the 60s to 90s.

  Of course the Catholic Church has their sticky fingers all over it. What is it about those creepy bastards? Put them in charge of children and they start dropping dead like flies, just ask the homes for unmarried mothers in Ireland. Apparently 1 in 50 indigenous children died. I don't know about you, but I can't recall the mortality rate at my school ever reaching even 1. Who knows what other abuses happened if that was the number who died, those who survived often led lives of addiction as a result of the stress.

  The Truth and Reconciliation committee estimated the number of deaths at the school was in the tens, so they were out by a huge factor.

  So what to do?

  Investigate. Find the true scale of the horror.

  Then punish the people and the organizations involved.

  And I mean, fucking punish them properly - anyone still alive who was involved, I want to see them publicly executed or at least put in stocks so we can pelt them with shit. Tear down statues of anyone who isn't, that includes Pierre Trudeau who was in power for 15 years while this was going on.

  Organizations should have assets seized as forfeiture and paid as compensation to the families of those concerned. I think the Catholic Church can spare a few dollars and then the Pope can come and get on his knees and beg forgiveness for the sins of his house.

  sadly, british blm activist sasha johnson is critically ill in hospital after being shot in the head.. first, i'd like to wish her a recovery if this is possible.. but i also think this could be a good test case of how the british media report this event.. i think it could be good to explore media bias.. so, we have the right-wing daily mail saying that, according to her friend, sasha johnson was shot in the head due to being in the cross-fire of a gang shooting, and that she wasn't the intended target, neither was she targeted because of her politics.. at the other end of the spectrum, the left-wing guardian is saying that she was shot after receiving death threats, according to her political party that she founded.. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9612115/drive-gunmen-shot-black-panther-oxford-sasha-johnson-head-fired-house-party.html.
