  Hope you are truly right about all you say about this. , but a poor schmuck like me find it dubious that many of the scams, extortion, ransom deals are channeled to the parallel monetary system, is it not because it is not easily traceable through layers of "wallet" sites? only accessible through coded passwords?

  The vast majority of crime and fraud happens using USD. Most crypto is trackable and provides law enforcement with new tools.

  banks give out stolen money with a colouring bomb attached.

  I think that's more in movies. The real criminal use of USD will be things like cartels moving shipments of drugs etc... and of course the major banks doing money laundering and other shenanigans.

  Is it not true, that financial crisis were not triggered by honest people working to much or little, but by speculation and manipulation of artificial monetary concepts and vehicles, that have only tenuous connection to reality?

  Too many negatives in the sentence to try to make sense of it. The last banking crisis was caused by assets being misrepresented and a contagion of bad debt. The "solution" to all things for banks and politicians is to inflate currency so it becomes worthless, because it makes their debts less and steals from savers ... money that they otherwise can't touch.

  True, that China has produced a lot of junk, piling up in our landfills, ut they also have produced value for many of their suffering people.

  hopefully their aggression can be contained.

  cash , under the table earnings are also great ways to dodge taxes, , and make others pay for the benefits that governments dish out, such as universal healthcare and pensions to the poor retired circuit overseer and special pioneers, and other gullible true believers in / of wt inc.

  Crypto isn't like cash, as it's traceable.

  Imagine being able to see and track exactly where all the money going into a charity is spent for instance? Not just what they tell you they spend things on, what they actually spend it on, because the ledger of transactions is public.

  Instead of enabling corruption is makes things more transparent, which is not going to be something that certain organizations and certain governments want.

  Where to flee Covid mandates and restrictions?

  at the moment there does not seem to be any place to flee to from covid mandates and restrictions.

  we are stuck like the first century christians in jerusalem.

  but jesus said when the disgusting thing would stand in the holy place, it was time to swiftly flee to the mountains.. will jehovah god open a path to security where we can be in safety?

  Smokers pay more for health insurance on the plan my husband's employer has and under which I'm covered.

  That's if you have a private system. In a socialized system such as the UK or Canada everyone pays the same rate in taxes with no regard to your lifestyle or what you might be doing to your own health.

  I'm sure there is someone, somewhere using coal, but the majority of crypto miners need and want to use something less

  in Alberta capped dormant wells to burn off gas that should be left in the ground, harassing nearby residences in the process.

  If you're referring to off-gassing, this happens anyway. There is a tremendous amount of wasted energy but lots of this can now be harnessed. There would be no point converting this gas to electricity in the middle of no-where, but Crypto can make it worthwhile which then reduces the wasted emissions and brings economic benefit.

  It's very misleading to compare the total energy use to countries. It comes down to exactly which energy is being used. If it's energy that would otherwise be wasted then it isn't equivalent and it's misleading to imagine that preventing it would somehow save that energy - it wouldn't, it would still be created, just wasted.

  Crypto miners can use excess energy (e.g. solar and wind, when it exceeds demand) and can make it more economical to have these installations by being a paying customer for them at times no one else wants or can use that power.

  Many of those women don't have a college degree of any value whatsoever so they are not "earning more" than a hard working man doing physical work.

  What they probably have is student debt, and they'll be on the lookout for some schmuck to pay that off for them.

  You may want to do some research instead of spouting the institutional propaganda.

  Bitcoin is surprisingly green and can enable renewable energy to be economically viable. It uses waste energy whenever possible because it's incentivized to do so which makes direct energy-usages vs green-ness not obvious.

  Start by looking into how much energy the traditional financial systems use.

  Also, the "used by criminals" has also been debunked. The things that criminals use most are high denomination US dollars, the notes that serve no purpose to regular society. Most crypto is on an open ledger which makes tracing payments easier.

  China don't like it because it gives people economic freedom and removes their ability to control people and the whole financial system. It provides economic freedom and wealth transfer to people who are unbanked or disadvantaged by the current financial systems and from political control.

  The whole thing is insane.

  Leadership has failed.

  They both lock everything down too much when not required and then open up too much before it's over. Nothing is really backed by science, it's just reactive idiocy.

  The worst thing is that any proper debate about thing is not allowed. People's opinions are silenced and often they are valid opinions.

  I know the argument, that unvaccinated make up too much of hospital admissions, but you can equally claim that fatty-bum-bums make up too many of admissions as there is a huge correlation between Covid impact and obesity.

  Isn't obesity just as much of a personal choice? Can we ration healthcare to those people? How about smokers? How about those who do dangerous sports? How about people with aids from risky promiscuity? Why are we all paying the same taxes but some are more of a burden to society?

  Why are only people who don't trust the latest messaging from the liars of the century being labelled as the enemy to society?

  What they resort to is authoritarian control. You see that in Australia.

  Yeah, ours had financial scandals, money missing from a congregation account, investors in a JW-owned company ripped off, an elder having an affair with the wife of someone who went for him to support, unmarried teenage pregnancies, car thieves. You name it, we had it!

  The "spiritual paradise" never was.

  The funny thing is that you discover people are way more clean living and moral outside of the religion. Maybe it's TODO with those who it appeals to all wanting forgiveness? Whatever it is - we have nicer friends with stable marriages and well brought up kids away from it.

  The WTS and those who go are often bad association!
