  As for the facts, we don't know them all yet but we do know that we won't be told the entire story and will likely be told some mistruths. People do employ publicists after all who's job it is to "make me look good" and I think handling bad PR is part of that.

  As an example of things I think don't make sense I've seen one report that someone said "cold gun" when handing it to him and another that Baldwin said "why did someone give me a hot gun?". It just feels like an odd response, wouldn't it be "why did you tell me it was cold?" or 'that wasn't a cold gun!".

  Incidentally, the claim is that he was handed the gun by an assistant director and told it was cold. I would question whether that constitutes any form of safety protocol - surely the point of having someone responsible for the firearms is for that to be their job? Safety protocols only work if people follow them, and if they don't then that is negligence.

  Anyway, how about a joke to lighten the mood?

  Hollyweird and the leftist idiots tell us gun owners all the time that we need safety classes and licenses to own a gun and keep it in a safe ect.

  No, they say that guns should be banned and no one should have them. By no-one, they mean you, because they have armed guards. Then they play pretend-shootouts and produce endless movies and TV shows glorifying shooting and criminality while criticizing police if they ever shoot anyone even if they are being shot at.

  There is no reason Hollywood couldn't have 100% safe guns, other than $$$

  Which bit of "as reported" do you have trouble understanding?

  The fact is, he shot and killed a woman and seriously injured someone else. If he'd attended an NRA firearm safety course this could have been avoided, and he's quick to judge others who have far better legitimate reasons to be firing guns at people.

  Some questions:
  

  Why do liberal elites preach one thing in public, but do a different thing in private? What happened to all the "care for the low paid"? Out the window when it comes to saving a few bucks ...

  Isn't a prop gun that can shoot and kill someone really just a gun, that is being used as a prop? It's 2021, is it not possible to make a genuinely fake gun that can't possibly fire anything at anyone? I had a cap-gun 45+ years ago that could make a bank and a puff of smoke for Christs sake and I didn't have any CGI budget or post-effects people.

  Why don't they at least make prop guns only take "prop caliber bullets" so that loading a real round couldn't happen (cough, cost, cough).

  If you are firing a gun in a movie, is there really ever any need to point it at anyone for real? No, there isn't. I'm not a director, but I know camera-angles are a thing.

  Anyone who points a gun at someone and pulls the trigger is responsible for what happens - they should have taken charge of making sure what was loaded in it or not. It's like the "did you pack this case yourself" question at the airport checkin.

  He was the producer, he was (from the sound of it) responsible for the lack of safety procedures, he was responsible for using untrained people and he was responsible for pulling the trigger.

  I think he's guilty, but don't expect anything to happen to him, because liberal elites will be finding a friendly judge as we speak, and it will morph into "oooh, guns ... a gun shot someone"

  Dune (1984) - er, yeah, lol

  so, i saw dune (1984) yesterday.

  i knew it wasn't gonna be great, but deary me.

  i'm not gonna lie - this film is not good, in fact it's laughably bad in places.. first, i'd like to know the thought process that went behind choosing david lynch to write/direct.

  Dune isn't a trilogy. If you stop at book 3 you're missing out on a lot. Yeah, a lot of it is weird, but everyone you thought was a hero or even a main character in the original books turns out to be someone else towards the end.

  If you read them, you'll understand why they will never be made into a movie. People thought "Foundation" would be difficult? That's simple by comparison.

So perhaps 30,000 of them are wealthy, distributed over the entirety of the country, it is highly unlikely that is the cause of homelessness, crime rates and other social ills currently befalling Canada

  People don't have to live there to raise the cost of housing - foreign owners can buy property as a safe investment, thus driving up prices. They are not limited to purchasing a single property either.

  The state of Vancouver is ridiculous - there are people who purchased $15m+ properties who claim their world-wide income was less than $20. No, that isn't a typo - $20.

  She has a brilliant mind, and is probably even a prodigy in regards to promoting political action about climate change and in regards to her leadership ability. I am very impressed with her.

  She's a puppet, being coached.

  She often looks awkward, like she doesn't really want to be there, but has to be.

  I feel a little sorry for her, but that doesn't mean she should be excused or allowed to spread her nonsense.
