I think trying to make this about how much someone earns is a mistake.

Whether it's $10 or $100,000, what matters is the pretence that is used to fundraise and what the money is subsequently spent on. The hypocrisy is the thing to be critical of, claiming to campaign for CSA and then engaging in the kind of behavior that contributes to millions of CSA victims. Using a fake "family man" image and claims of having to give up time with wife and family, when in reality he's leaving them at home while he goes off for a private luxury vacation to cheat and womanize (let's assume "women").

there is a trial currently starting - even funnier than the baldwin nonsense.. yes, everyone's favorite actor, singer and hate crime victim is going on trial.. i am, of course, talking about jussie smollett.

he's going on trial for lying to chicago police and wasting their time.. he's obviously as guilty as hell, but i just can't wait for this to unfold.. it's gonna be hilarious ....

Jussie Smollett is now claiming that the trial that found him guilty of staging a racist attack ... was racist, and demanding a re-trial.

They must have found a nice democrat judge and have some radical black democrats lined up fo jury duty.

'cause all of this must have originally started from her, right? (that's my understanding from the original statement, that his wife found out about it and was in contact with Kim).

It now sounds like they have come to some sort of "arrangement" doesn't it? Maybe she wanted a raise, maybe she's doing it for the money after realizing that would come to an end (so becomes another woman for Lloyd to "pay"), or maybe there was a coverup and he's using her part in that as leverage? Who knows ... who cares ... shallow people wallowing in their own mess.

Tip: never get involved in the lives of dysfunctional people. They will suck you into their vortex if you let them and you'll just be wasting your energy on nonsense.

Lots of things about that family don't add up and don't make sense. Her coming to his defence after his repeated cheating and recent revelations? Just very strange, unbelievably so.

Does he actually criticize the WTS for breaking up families and for shunning all while he's living with his JW in-laws and thus discrediting his own work? Very odd isn't it?

And yes, I can't think of any exJWs that treat the JW literature with such reverence. Truly bizarre.

If she wants to leave but doesn't, that's her choice - it's not like she's isolated from family in a foreign country after all. If she's part of some manipulation then why do we care about her at all?

They may just be a co-dysfunctional couple, addicted to each others drama, but ultimately united to focus on the "gig". If only they'd piss off, they could just be ignored, but instead they will forever be taking money off of exJWs who feel they want to contribute to "a cause", all so they can live a lifestyle that they likely couldn't if they had to really work for it.

Alternatively, they may not really be her posting with those accounts, and she'd been forced to "verify" them with Kim to make them more credible.

It's a mild curiosity, usually in the world-cup year, but few people go to watch it (friends and family mostly).

Yes, a posted text message saying "I am Dijana and Lloyd is wonderful and innocent" isn't as convincing as a video would be, because he's used her account on this site, and if he is as controlling as is claimed then it wouldn't be far fetched to imagine he's the one actually posting. It also wouldn't be what I imagine most (any?) wife would say after the revelations he came out with.

But if she does appear on a video, blink twice if you're being compelled to do it and need rescue ... LOL

If someone is making this up, they are going to extraordinary lengths to maintain a consistent, plausible timeline.

What isn’t complicated is that he is an extremely nasty person who wouldn’t think twice about harming other people. We can see this clearly from his own livestream. There was nothing fake about that.

That's what I find incredible. Not only does everything fit in a consistent way, but some of it predates the subsequent revelations / allegations and fit exactly with the behavior and excuses given. My experience of people is that they re-use excuses for behavior if they have found they have worked in the past.

This whole thing would’ve been far less of a shitstorm if Lloyd had just kept his mouth shut and ignored it for a month.

It wasn't ignorable, because it couldn't be glossed over - but that was his doing as well, trying to manipulate people into a situation where he forced them to be silent and cover up his actions, no doubt something he'd use against them in future. But people have their own reputations to consider and couldn't be seen to be condoning it.

But the first rule of apologies is to actually make one, and we're still waiting for that. All he's done is given further proof of how stupid, arrogant and unreasonable he is and how he's still trying to bully people and set his mob after anyone who questions him.

It's exjw after exjw coming out of the woodwork and saying how badly he's treated them. I mean there are hundreds.

He definitely opened the floodgates and showed that his public image really is just a veneer. He's a nasty piece of work, and he's harmed many in the community, lots of good people walked away and we were left with this abuser.

Can you imagine this man as a power hungry elder? Can you imagine what he'd do to you if you crossed him?

Of if you were the lowest in the hierarchy, like a young girl, and someone with his controlling, manipulating personality and inability to control his weiner had that type of power and control in an organization where that authority couldn't be questioned or reported? The mind boggles ...

Absolutely anticipated, because you can't have someone like that on a project of that nature, it would undermine the entire thing.

And he still doesn't get it, he doesn't believe he's done anything wrong and is trying to rationalize it into "I only admitted I was flawed". No Lloyd, you told everyone what sort of person you truly are. I want to find a clip from Steptoe and Son: "you dir-ty old man, dir-ty dir-ty!"

The fact that he doesn't have the sense to simply step down of his own volition shows how arrogant and blind to reality he is. A rational person would have done it up-front off his own back, realizing that his behavior makes his involvement with such a project incompatible. Instead everything is always about him and and every project is to serve his self promotion.

And remember: while making this project, about these victims, he was living this life, and was happy to hypocritically pretend everything was fine. Remember next time you see his fat face talking, he's an expert at lying with no shame at all.

Yes, it's often not about the immediate case as much as sending a message to anyone considering making similar content - that they will harass you and you don't want that trouble in your life.
