The way most systems / algorithms work are open to abuse by organized groups. If he gets enough of his zombie followers to mark something as abusive, the system will likely remove it.
Amazon don't care about the integrity of their system. Most of the reviews are BS and bots anyway, and many of the products they sell are fake - they just want the $$$

And to decide to be PIMI because you don't know and can't decide is illogical and frankly plain dumb - you're spending resources and time, our most precious asset, on something you don't know if it's of any value?
You can't prove that I am not god and testing you right now ... demanding that you send me $10,000 USD. By your logic, you should send it because you just don't know and "better safe than sorry?". You're not accounting for the cost, there is always a cost.
What we do know is that people that want you to do something for them, without recompense, based on "maybe something good might happen to you in the future ... but from someone else" are usually scammers and fraudsters. Religion is just a government sanctioned, tax deductible scam.

He thinks we're all jealous of him. Yeah, 'cause we all want to be failed husbands and failed men who can't please their wives and have to visit hookers to get their jollies. The sure sign of "manliness" (not).
So slovenliness is the new middle fingered salute to WT? Or is it to the audience at large? Refusing to adhere to basic standards of grooming and cleanliness is not a compromise of one's "journalistic" integrity.
I think Lloyd lives in simplistic exJW world, which to be fair way too many others also occupy (which may explain why he still has support). In this world what the says WTS is always automatically views as bad, so you live opposite to whatever they say. If they say to brush your hair, dress smartly and appear respectable, you don't. If they say be faithful and honest to your partner, you sleep with hookers. If they tell you to eat healthy and exercise, you do your best to look like a sweaty potato.
How else would people know you hate the WTS so much? Obviously, you keep their books in pristine condition in a glass case, with lights to show them off, and you use their language and behavior at every opportunity, even naming tiers of your patreon subscriptions after their beliefs, because you don't want to distance yourself too much!
After all, the point of opposite-world is really about the excuse it gives you to behave like a slime-ball, while claiming you can't help it because you were brought up in a mildly conservative religious family like many millions of other people who are living happy lives in successful marriages.
Lloyd failed as a JW, he failed as an elder, he failed as a husband and he's failing as an exJW "CSA activist". Heck, he even failed with his "I'm taking a break" non-apology because he now fails to manipulate people anymore.

The expression "having no natural affection" refers to the natural love that members of the same family have for each other.
Ironic that it's the one characteristic of JWs, that they will turn their back on their family in a heartbeat if the GB demand it.

by Simon ini want to create a new site to help people leaving the wts.. the idea is that it will be curated content of articles and videos on specific subjects such as how to fade, how to handle family, personal experiences of leaving, mistakes to avoid, plus practical life matters impacted by the wts such as how to create or rebuild a career, planning for retirement, getting counselling, making friends etc.... the idea is that it should be lots of voices to share the love and promote lots of people's channels so it becomes a more effective resource (hopefully there will always be something informative and appealing to the people visiting).. if you have a youtube channel that you would like featured, or maybe have some specific video or series that would suit, i'd be happy to include them.. likewise, if you have a subject you'd like to write about and can share some practical knowledge and guidance on, or have a life-story you'd like to share because your experience could benefit others, please let me know.. i bought a domain and setup some placeholder content:.

This is the kind of thing I want to document. That people have choices, that they don't have to follow a script someone else has given them.
Tear it up, you make your own rules. Make it hard for them to screw you over, don't make it convenient by doing what they want you to!

Yes, it's a losing argument to blame the WTS for shunning.
First of all, they can't really shun you. Is the Governing Body that never spoke to you not going to speak to you? Only your friends and family can shun you, people that you care about.
So put it on them, don't give them an "easy out". If they can blame the WTS and if you also blame the WTS ... well you've agreed with them that they have to and can. Instead, tell them that they don't have to, that the WTS has no power. That it is completely up to them what they do ... and you'll judge them for it.
Don't reenforce the belief that the WTS is in control and the people have to do what the WTS tells them. Remove that thought, introduce the idea that they can chose what to do.
