Q: "Are you a kiddie fiddler?"
A: "I despair at the lack of support for my activism ..."
Not gonna lie, I've not been put on any list and it feels like I'm being shunned all over again

Something Eerily Familiar about "The Village" Movie.
by Sea Breeze ineven after 17 years i still haven't forgot "the village".
maybe it was because i had just left the wt.
did anyone else feel like you especially identified with this movie as a witness/ex-witness?

Yeah, the ending is a real jolt and it's suspenseful along the way. You get this sense that things aren't right, everything isn't as it seems, but you don't quite know how.
It's a great movie in its own right but, like The Matrix, has that special "waking up to reality" quality that echoes the experience of leaving the WTS especially if you were brought up in it all your life.

"Seriously Alien Encounters f**k you. Seriously. You were grooming a 14 year-old. Whot? Whot?"
"I really despair ex-JWs quite frankly."
It still boggles my mind that no-where in that reply does he think to offer a denial. Unreal! I'm pretty sure most people's reaction to an accusation like that would be "that's a lie", not to start lamenting the state of exJW activism. Then later in the video he jokes about it saying "whoopsie, I said 'girls' again ... I mean women, LOL!"
Thank god he hired that PR firm to rebuild his image. Apparently for just an extra $5 they'll paint your fence too.

I feel so bad for him to be totally humiliated like that
How was he humiliated? He was sainted on the spot!
Lloyd is the only one that should be humiliated in that exchange.

Some Jw's are the worst employees
by Foolednomore ini found a company and employed an elder as an underwriter and two ms as sales and marketing.
anyway, this elder will delegate his work to the ms in sales and marketing, so he can go home early.
he knew when he got started that this would be a 10 hour a day job with some saturday.

I worked somewhere once where someone mentioned that the JWs couldn't work over Christmas due to their religious beliefs. Yeah, of all the religions ...
Someone obviously didn't want to work some shifts and didn't see any problem with lying to get what they wanted.

New JW.Watch Website - Plans, Ideas & Submissions
by Simon ini want to create a new site to help people leaving the wts.. the idea is that it will be curated content of articles and videos on specific subjects such as how to fade, how to handle family, personal experiences of leaving, mistakes to avoid, plus practical life matters impacted by the wts such as how to create or rebuild a career, planning for retirement, getting counselling, making friends etc.... the idea is that it should be lots of voices to share the love and promote lots of people's channels so it becomes a more effective resource (hopefully there will always be something informative and appealing to the people visiting).. if you have a youtube channel that you would like featured, or maybe have some specific video or series that would suit, i'd be happy to include them.. likewise, if you have a subject you'd like to write about and can share some practical knowledge and guidance on, or have a life-story you'd like to share because your experience could benefit others, please let me know.. i bought a domain and setup some placeholder content:.
https://jw.watch.
please message me or post here if you have any questions or ideas..

I don't think you can really wake someone up until they are ready. You can plant seeds, little nuggets of information that will be useful and may help when they are, but you can't force them to see the truth.
It's why buying advertising or billboards or sending letters and all these things to get a message in front of someone are mostly pointless. It's not that they don't know about the messages saying the WTS is wrong, or haven't come across them that's the issue. It's that they are just not ready to let go.
We have to be careful that most of the marketing isn't really only appealing to those who have already left and maybe looking for repeated validation or reaffirmation for their choice.

How the fuck can he say he's a CSA advocate and then on a livestream use the same rhetoric that numerous child molesters and rapists use as an excuse???? Wtf?
Yeah, "I can't possibly control my sexual urges" is the rapists / pedos excuse.
Even worse, he refuses to believe that anyone else can. He wants to believe that everyone else like "Saintly Brandon" is lying.
Sorry Lloyd. The overwhelming majority of normal men can and do control themselves.
I don't believe that anyone can't, I believe that they don't want to bother and just use it as a lazy excuse for their reprehensible behavior.

The more exposure to this nonsense will means these atheists will take note and stop their Patron.
Not all, some will be those militant anti-religious types who will like him more for living an anti-moral lifestyle.
In their tiny brains, morals are linked with religion, so they have to live opposite-life to object to it.
Or they use their rejection of religion and morals as the excuse for their immoral lifestyle.

I think everyone has an internal battle between what they know they should do, and what they want to do.
That doesn't mean we all want to be axe-wielding psychopathic rapists but know we should really be "nice people" ... everyone's struggles and the extremes of what they want to do is different.
But I think if you look at things this way it's less of a surprise when someone seems to switch from being a campaigner for or against a thing, to being a proponent or perpetrator of a thing.
Similar to how the ultra-Christian TV evangelists gives in to their "inner gay" after years of speaking against it so vehemently, or why the biggest advocate for children can turn out to be a secret pedo.
People know what they should do, they may put effort into doing it, and it may be to mask and suppress what they want to do.
It's sad if they don't recognize this and get the help they need, and instead try to cover it up.
