i started asking questions about how the world worked and i really wanted an honest opinion from my parents.

I think his latest meltdown is because he's seen Kim on social media, meeting up with lots of exJWs and he's no longer part of it. He wants to be that person, that people are keen to see, and meet with. But now he isn't and never will be.

He's perhaps jealous and bitter and is lashing out because of it to try and ruin what someone else has, any way he can.

But we know his act now, and how he tries to drive away other exJW community members who have a voice. So it doesn't work anymore.

This "statement," as I see it, is frankly gossip; vicious gossip. There is truth to it, as Evans verified some of it; but, If I was Evans, I would feel betrayed.

If you are referring to Kim's statement, it wasn't gossip it was fact and she had a duty to warn others.

I don't fault Evans for going to Thailand and having some fun with women and sex. He may not have felt that it was cheating, because the relationships were about sex and not love.

But it clearly is cheating, however much you try to twist the meaning. You've given the reason for doing this, which explains what I think many of his ardent supporters believe - him doing what they do somehow "justifies" their own behavior.

However, if he spent some of his donors money on it, then that is wrong and he needs to be held accountable for his actions.

Right, and he refuses to see anything wrong with it. But the bigger issues is that he did this while claiming to represent people who had been abused.

His confession, though, seemed sincere; which means, he regretted his actions, and from regret comes repentance.

Was it a confession, or an attempt to excuse and explain away that he didn't really think he'd done anything wrong? He does not appear to regret anything beyond being caught and exposed - he actually seems to think everything is "normal" and anyone who can control their sexual urges is somehow weird and "saintly". Like many others, I think cheating on your spouse with anyone, certainly prostitutes, is very much not normal.

Given they seem to go away on breaks & holidays abroad at least 4 or 5 times a year, I find his claim to be broke as farcical. They just can't prioritize the money they do have properly.

One thing you realize, when you watch any of the "personal finance rescue" type programmes, is that many people live way beyond their means. You might look at other people and wonder how they manage to afford to travel so much, and have that new car (or two) and maybe a boat and so on ... and the truth is, they can't!

It's usually all debt but the days of cheap and easy debt are over now. Eventually, living beyond your means catches up with you and everything unravels. If nothing else, the debt servicing costs bleed you dry, as you pay for the privilege of the money you borrowed to pay for something long since forgotten.

A zero bank balance tends to have negative gravity in both directions. If you get into debt, it's hard to get back to zero, but once you become a saver / investor your money just grows.

No matter, it’s not HIS money he’s using to pay lawyers. Patrons are literally funding his campaign for vengeance.

This is on them too. There's no longer any excuse, no blind-eyes left to turn - he's clearly demonstrating what a vindictive spiteful person he is.

People's true nature is always revealed eventually. Even to those who wilfully try not to see it.

Back in august he posted this. Now he say's Kim Silvio is to blame for his weight loss. OH COME ON!

Yeah, I'm not a lawyer but it would be trivially easy to use his many conflicting public statements to discredit any testimony or claim he makes.

The guy just talks too much and thinks too little.

What Lloyd still doesn't grasp is that he did this to himself and only has himself to blame.

Did someone force him to spend money regularly cheating on his wife with prostitutes? No, it was all him. Don't bemoan that you don't have money when you spent it on an extravagant lifestyle beyond your means (lots of unnecessary traveling and vacations, plus paying for hookers).

I think I said some time ago that he didn't seem the type to plan ahead or to deny himself anything, so it looks like as his money arrived he's rushed to spend it, living a lifestyle based on a temporary blip of earnings, all built on lies.

Get a real job, earn a real wage doing a real thing (have you ever done real work, something other than coasting as a pioneer?). The ex-JW grift you had going on seemed to be quite a lucrative little earner, but you blew it up with your lack of self-control and arrogant lack of humility. If you relied on it so much, you should have been especially careful to not burn it down. But you did! You chose to jeopardize it pursuing sexual gratification and living a lie, portraying yourself as a loving husband and father when instead you were a cheat.

You still won't accept or admit it Lloyd, but a significant part of your "persona" is built on claiming to be an advocate for CSA survivors and that is wholly incompatible with using young prostitutes in countries with serious human trafficking issues. Anyone who knew about it who claimed to work in the CSA arena had a responsible to distance themselves from it and warn others. People in that position have a duty of care. You failed in yours spectacularly.

If your life is so messed up that you can't properly provide for your family and have to take drugs to cope, maybe that says more about you than it does anyone else. If your wife and kids are stressed because of what has happened, then again, that is all of your doing. You did it to them and I don't know why they still want to be around you.

I doubt anyone is going to bother going to Croatia for this BS legal pantomime you are trying to sell the world. I also doubt that any semi-competent legal representation would be OK with you making public threats like you have.

Here's the reality: the WTS is the "nicest" of opponents to have. They don't send anyone to get you, they don't do any dirty tricks, they are nothing like Scientologists. They will occasionally take action if people post / distribute their copyrighted material, but that is usually easily avoided by responding to the DMCA takedown request.

The idea that he's fighting some battle like a noble knight, stood against some mighty forces is laughable, and yet still he managed to effectively lop his own leg off.

He's a Don Quixote, tilting at windmills, thinking he's battling something when there's no one else there.

The reality is that his "enemy" simply doesn't really care about him. They cared so little, they even gave him a guided tour of their HQ!
