  didn't know silicon valley bank was so important for start-ups....now there's some sort of contagion, people taking their money from regional banks to the big banks.

  system seems pretty resilient and different from 2008. thoughts?.

  Many banks are functionally insolvent.

  But it's OK, the fed will just print more $$$ and apparently, the new magically printing they use doesn't 'cause any additional inflation.

  It's what happens when fucking morons are put in charge. There are no serious people running the show any more. Maybe there never were (although Isaac Newton did a pretty good job setting the British monetary system until WWI crashed it), but the wheels have really come off now.

  The idea that Ray Franz could in any way be compared to Evans is ludicrous and shameful to even suggest

  No, it wouldn't, as it would totally discredit the honesty and authenticity of the author and for JWs exiting and making life-changing and family impacting decisions, that matters a lot.

  But comparing Lloyd Evens with Raymond Franz is such a stretch, it's laughable to even do it. It's a rather lame attempt to excuse his behavior.

  Anyway, I've had enough of your Lloyd-apologism, so you can piss off now. This site is for people to share genuine opinions and have honest discussions, and I think you're either trolling or involved with him in some way. No normal person can have followed the story and think it's all OK and acceptable.

  Opposing Putin is all very well, and grandiose, but I think it would be better if we didn't get to having to do that in the current manner.

  Putin is there because of things *we* did. Unless and until people wise up, the same things will keep happening.

  The powers-that-be are happy to see Ukraine decimated and millions killed, if it gives them $$$ and a place to host their bio labs. Meanwhile their propaganda campaign has people cheering it all on.

  I'd rather we hadn't got to this point and I think the people who got us here and who support the people who keep on doing this are to blame and deserve the label idiot.

  So no, you're not an idiot and a fool if you simply think opposing Putin and China is a good idea. But I think you are if you support the entire chain of events that make the current form of opposition necessary.

  We're only here so slime-ball politicians can enrich themselves, laundering money through one of the most corrupt countries in Europe, and so the military industrial complex can make sales. Who in their right mind would support that? (apart from everyone, apparently)

  Nothing he says makes sense other than an attempt to spin and obfuscate reality. The big man talks the talk but was probably in tears and pleading inside. That is way more likely a reason he didn't record it.
