IMO, it's on you if you continue to do business with him and help promote him, and we get to judge what kind of person you appear to be if you do - one lacking moral moral fibre.

If you redefine words to mean something other than what everyone understands them to be, then nothing is ever a lie. But just redefine "lie" to mean, "take a shit", and hey - god can't lie!

My take:
Someone with a vested interest in pushing these drugs saw an opportunity to recruit someone with enough of a YouTube audience that it was worth their expense to fund his 'experiment' so he could blab about his wonderful 'experience' to promote their use.
The drugs are illegal, the person pushing them did not have the legal rights to do so and both they and Lloyd were breaking the law, making them criminals.
