  Is Raiders of the Lost Ark OK for a 7 year old? In addition to the violent scenes mentioned above, Raiders of the Lost Ark contains images that might scare or upset children under eight. In particular, one scene towards the end of the movie contains horror images as well as blood and gore. Younger children might find it very disturbing and frightening.

  Take a step back. Lloyd is spending "quality time" with his kids. He'd prefer to be elsewhere, doing other things (i.e. doing prostitutes), but he has to watch a movie.

  What movie does he pick? Something the kid wants to watch? Fuck no! He picks something he wants to re-watch.

  Because I guarantee no 8 year old wants to watch some 40+ year old movie with religion and nazis in it. They want to watch a Pixar or Disney movie, or Pepper-Pork, erm, I mean Pig.

  He's such a selfish twat, even watching a movie with his kid has to be his choice, not theirs.

  if i'd lost a job, business, or reputation for refusing to "get jabbed and save other people's lives," i think i'd be demanding to know what "science" enforced some of the draconian laws & punishments on those who declined the "offer.".

  All the "follow the science" was really "believe the propaganda", because how could there be any science if they didn't test for it and there was therefore no data to base the policies on?

  All lies, and those responsible for untold deaths should be harassed anytime they step foot outside. Seriously, make them afraid to sit in a restaurant. If they are not going to be prosecuted for their crimes, society should impose its own sanctions on them.

  Many of these people got insanely wealthy from the lockdowns, while others suffered untold misery and were denied the chance to say goodbye to loved ones.

  The data is clear now that the places that locked down and vaccinated the most had the highest excess deaths.

  I would only say that innumeracy is a BIG part of why people stay poor.

  And that's why the school system is so bad at teaching financial literacy (along with everything else).

  It's easy for the political class the teachers unions support to manipulate those poor people by pointing at "rich man bad" in order to keep power and control.

  So the poor dumb end up voting for the people who made sure they were poor and dumb in the first place, so the cycle can be perpetuated.

  The bitter, jealous and feeble minded only see "rich man pay less" because they are simplistic and can't do math. it's partly why they are poor.

  It's hard for any tax cut to not give more to the rich because the taxes accumulate so whatever level gets a cut applies to those and all levels above.

  The rich pay all levels so naturally get all cuts.

  Continuing along the path of reducing the number of people who pay any tax is unsustainable and has a devastating negative affect on society as a whole.

  The welfare state should be temporary and an absolute safety net, not a lifestyle. There should never be generations of people in families that don't work.

  Taxation isn't the way to solve income inequality. It simply creates an ever more complex system that will always benefit the wealthy who can afford to hire people (and who have the added incentive) to find the loopholes.

  Everyone should contribute to society and pay a proportion in tax. If you don't contribute, you don't value things. We now have a whole segment of the population that thinks they can smash and destroy whatever they want with zero consequences. When things come out of your pocket, it changes the equation.

  All taxes should be a simple percentage, then we could abolish the tax regime itself which costs a fortune to run. Also the "hidden" tax of the cost of doing your tax returns.

  Give the government less money and they have less chance of pissing it away on nonsense.

  I aways suspected that "John Redwood" was "John Cedars", they sounded so alike and JR always popped up to defend and obfuscate JCs behavior, so I assumed it was just another pseudonym.

  Discovering it was actually another person was a revelation, but I still never knew where one ended and the other began.

  He's distanced himself from JLE, but not really condemned him or took a stand. He oozes "politician" in that he's keeping his options open, but I doubt JLE will see it that way - anything short of 110% adulation makes you an enemy.

  Most supporters of JLE just haven't discovered the real him yet. They really should try suggesting that maybe he's gone too far or should back off or question something, just to get a glimpse of the real character behind the curtain.

  i was under the impression that it was going to be a short war, that russia’s military would indeed subdue ukraine’s forces quickly but that is not happening.

  seems that russia’s military power is much less than it’s reputed to be.
