  It's odd to have the police involves just to deliver court correspondence for a case he initiated. If he doesn't respond, it's on him, and the thing is cancelled.

  Wouldn't it be hilarious if he'd included something in his "evidence" that incriminated himself with something. Remember: he really is that dumb.

  i was wondering how long it would take to read the bible if one read only a single scripture everyday.

  and then i remember there being a daily scriptures booklet/book.

  in my memory it was purple.

  One a day would be over 85 years.

  But at the end of that 85 years, you would have learned ... nothing much at all!

  i've read on here about connected families within congregations who seem to get all the "privileges".

  how likely is an elder's son, or other relative, to rise within the ranks?.

  i imagine it's harder to do it that way once you start to ascend the ranks.

  Organization are always the same, unless they are governed by very principled people. Even so, forms of corruption inevitably develop somewhere in the system.

  Our hall had more than one family where kids of elders became elders too, and others where kids of elders didn't get the same treatment as others, even though they committed worse 'sins'.

  But, with policies like that it's no wonder they're declining. Like AirBNB and so many, they start with a good idea but then it gets bloated and shitty policies get revealed and the bubble soon deflates or outright bursts.

  Same with Uber - people forget why certain service industries exist as they did, and what legislation was there to protect people. Yes, there is sometimes some waste and bureaucracy, but a lot of these modern takes on established ideas miss out on a lot of the important rules and protections and it turns out they are not so wonderful or innovative as they first seem - they just avoid paying their true costs.

  Many are just outright fraudulent and got high valuations from inflated users numbers, sometimes through artificial use due to the unique and temporary situation of "free money" 0% interest rates while "money-printer go brrrrrr".

  I don’t think the free tier patron thing was his idea or even his choice, it was a patron wide thing

  Patreon as a platform and concept is in decline - their valuation dropped something like 70% and that doesn't happen if you have a solid business. The era of free money sloshing around and people being given money for dubious "creativity" is over.

  They are trying to artificially inflate (and retain) their user counts.

  So a combination of a lazy creator who regularly fails to deliver the promised "perks", who has driven a lot of supporters away with his abusive behavior, using a platform that itself is in decline?

  put in your bets as to where you think lard i mean lloyd evans will land after december's drop in his patrons.

  in september he started at 457 patrons, did his whiny begging fest and peaked at 478, but then dropped down to 439 at the beginning of october.

  as of this moment (nov. 6), he's at 427 paid members.. so, where do you think he'll be on december 2nd?

  Why even mention a viewer paid for all of it and that he’s more than happy to oblige?!

  Lloyd lies all the time about his finances. His trick is convincing these wealthy backers into thinking he’s about to close up shop for good.

  These things go together - the first is done to suggest that other people could do similar things and put their hands in their pockets to dig deep for a special donation.

  Hey, you might even get a mention if you're enough of a schmuck!

  And anyone donating money thinking that it does "something" for the exJW community and acts against the WTS in any way is as much a deluded fool as they were when they were a JW believing they'd be immortal.

  All they did was drop a t ... you're not immortal, now you're just immoral (yes, I'm judging anyone who enables behavior such as his).
