  Df'd for celebrating with worldly husband?

  i was just wondering if someone can be df'd for celebrating x-mas with their worldly husband's family?

  i thought that i had successfully faded away but it was found out that i went with my husband to his family's home to celebrate.

  being that it was his wish for me to be there and he is "head" of the family, do you all think that i will be brought in before a committee after three years away?

  As the wife of an unbelieving mate, you are supposed to follow his headship unless it conflicts with God's law (aka the JW rules). You are apparently supposed to vote if he says so, albeit you are to go into the privacy of the ballot box and null your ballot. You are to follow his request and attend holiday meals, although I believe you are supposed to request from him that you not attend. So, if they ask, you should say that you did your part and ask to be excused but he told you that you had to attend.

  i am tickled pink about it.

  i have been out of work for a while now(3 years almost) due to my back injury and a company that i voleenter for, offered me a postion at collage wages!!

  Its Really Not the Night, It's the Meaning...

  people celebrate their birthdays, if they fall on a wednesday, on a friday.

  the night that everyone is off of work and has time to have a party, have fun, and celebrate.

  they don't celebrate it on the exact date, but close enough that everyone knows.

  LCD screens, do you have one?

  this week, i'll go and buy a lcd screen for my computer.

  try to fit a 4:3 ratio picture into a 5:4 ratio screen, and it will distort.

  i'd like to have your feedback on this, if you noticed any distortion in your pictures when you changed from a crt 4:3 ratio to a lcd screen 5:4 ratio.

  hi- if a guy was disfellowshipped because of his association with me- a non- witness- will he be allowed to talk to me again once he is reinstated??

  I am guessing he didn't get df'd for associating with you........but maybe for what he did while he was with you. Smoking? Drugs? Sex? Any of those things???

  So, if he is reinstated again and if you are a woman, he will be counseled to not be alone with you........but thats true whether or not you were jw or non jw. Persons are not to be alone with members of the opposite sex.

  Actually, if there is no God and you were the guy who made up the idea therefore would be the one giving out the instruction, you'd have a pretty good gig goin'.

  Imagine.........You are the head of your klan and you get to tell them all to do your wishes or they suffer eternal damnation. Or you are a fat bald guy from Poland....you get to live in the Vatican, get a cool Jeep to drive in, gets to wear robe to work and no one laughs and people think you can never lie so even government leaders listen to you.

  Sounds pretty smart to me.
