Shipman...INNOCENT! (Per WTS)
by ISP inyes........horrible thought that it is, shipman would have been allowed to continue his murderous ways if the wts had anything to do with it.
the 2 witness policy would have meant that he would have escaped justice.
to say much more would have been slander and no doubt dubs would be df'd if they continued to make allegations.

A UK doctor who has been convicted of 215 murders. He injected his victims with morphine (I think it was morphine) and wrote their death certificates himself. Some suspect he really murdered 400. Probably the biggest killer on record. His surgery is only a few minutes drive away from where I live.

I've had many experiences.
When I was 9 my mum worked in a chip shop and I wandered into the back room alone only to see a man wearing an apron plucking chickens, smilling down at me. I ran to get my mother "who is that man?" and when we went back into the room, there was noone there, and no chickens.
Then one day when out with a friend (aged about 11) we were walking through a wooded area and saw children wearing victorian clothing playing in the woods. As we approached, they turned and saw us, and ran away...but as they ran they totally disappeared into thin air.
Each night at home (for a while) I would see an awful looking man stood in the doorway (silhouette) with shining eyes. I didn't tell anyone, until just this year when I mentioned it to my sister (who had shared my room as a child) and she went white and said that she'd seen him too.
Then theres the time when I was spoken to by a ghost and the message was later found to be true, something I couldn't have possibly known.
I know that people say that ghost stories are lies, or imagination, but I can tell you that these accounts are true. There are many others, but I'd be typing them all day! I accept that hallucination is a possibility for some thngs, but when physical objects move, or you get information you couldn't have known, then I think that shows there is an entity there.

Hi All,
There was a thread encouraging us all to write to our local MP regarding the child abuse issue. I did this by email to my local MP Terry Lewis, MP for Worsley, Greater Manchester, UK.
Here is his response letter which I received today:
23 July 2002
Dear XXXXXXXXXX
Thank you for your recent email message concering alleged child abuse, by the Jehovah's Witness religion.
I share your concerns and can confirm that I will support the efforts of my colleague Helen Clark MP who, as you know, is pressing Ministers to hold an enquiry into the matter.
I hope this is helpful.
With all good wishes.
Yours sincerely,
Terry Lewis, MP
If anyone wants a scanned copy that will be possible within the next day or two.
I was under the impression that other UKers had written to their MP...please post your replies so that we can see how many MPs are supporting the enquiry into JW child abuse.

Man, after all, creates gods in his own image.
by Bleep inthis is why i like to help those come to an accurate knowledge in the first place.
those that agree that there has been so many god's that have been worshiped can post here.
satan is behind it all of course.

I think that God as a universal energy source exists, and that we do create 'gods' that are just our way of interpreting God and how he/she works and affects our lives.
Jehovah, Zeus, Thoth, Diana, Mary, Hathor...all of them our creations but nontheless God.

Is God that clever?
by sleepy inis the god of the bible, as bible accounts tell us and according to witness theology clever or a bit daft and wasteful?.lets look at a few things.. god creates man.so in someway man is designed by god.now for some reason which is either a natural law which god cannot break, an error on his part or done on purpose, man is able to become imperfect.so either god could not forsee this or he carried on despite knowing what would happen if man turned imperfect.. was god right to do this?if you were god would you have carried on?was it right that if only the first two humans managed to become imperfect or made by god imperfect that all humans from then on would now be so cursed?is god using a dodgy programme or does he have no power to do things differently?.
then god sets laws for humans.it is up to god what man can and can not do.truble is these are exactly the things humans what to do if imperfect.could god have changed things round a bit making it easier for humans to follow his laws?
in fact those cursed with imperfection had no choice in the matter.and are punished for following their instincts.it goes so far that god says unless you follow my laws (which are impossible to follow fully as we are imperfect)i'm going to kill the lot of you?in fact i already know that hardly any will survive.. if you are an imperfect human , unable to follow god through no fault of your own, you are considered wicked.but apart from that apparently god allows some other creature with his mates to to mislead these poor humans with devious plans.they are so good that you cant even tell satan and his demon friends even exist.yet god allows tham to causes havoc among his humans.. aparently only those who manage to find out god exist through a book written thousands of years earlier , without any supporting evidence of being genuinly written by god, and only those out of that number who come across a tiny religious group , lead by a bunch of men who can not prove god is using them, and who sell their magazines by going door to door are going to be saved.. does this make sense?why does not god make it easier for humans?why allow them to be bullied and mislead by super powerful creatures?why make the "truth" so hard to find , so difficult to believe?why punish people for things they can't help doing?.

How wasteful god is.Could you have done better?
Good points.
Actually, if I was God, I wouldn't have bothered with creation at all.

Dubs Would be Totally Lost.........
by Farkel inthe topic of this thread is mostly directed towards jehovah's witnesses who still have some ability to think.
this topic is important to those jws who may have some doubts about their religion, no matter how small they might be.. i'm going to make perhaps, a rather startling assertion and instead of presenting all of my arguments for it, will invite others to contribute their own arguments.
if a person was to ask a number of jehovah's witnesses what was the single most important part of their religion, a variety of answers would be given, and without question, all of them would be wrong.. to put it another way, if one had the power to take away just one thing from the watchtower religion that would render it impotent and foundering like a beached whale, what would that one thing be?.

Sirona
Excellent point.
Please Farkel, never leave this forum....

What kind of Apostate are YOU?
by SYN inthat's right, what class of apostate do you fit into?
personally, i'm of the faithless (i'm close to being an athiest) and indiscreet (no explanation needed) class.. are you of the enviable smurf apostate class?
or perhaps even the haunted second-hand furniture apostate class?
