Communicating With The Dead
by choosing life ini studied in the "truth" book back in the 70's.
when we were talking about why it was wrong to communicate with the dead, the study conductor said it was because they were really demons posing as dead persons.
he also said that it would be mean on god's part if the dead were really still alive and god refused any communication with them.

I think the dead do communicate with us.
Since I can't prove that under scientific conditions, I know you'll dispute that claim.
I've simply had so many experiences that I can't deny that when our physical body dies, part of us continues on.

Yes, they still teach that the spirits of the dead are actually demons - pretending to be dead people. The dead are conscious of nothing - asleep.
However since 1914 the anointed are in heaven - so I guess they're the only humans who are in spirit form.
All of this is total rubbish BTW

Why bad things happen to good people...
by milligal inone thing that jw's teach that i can't abide by is that god allows bad things to happen so that he can vindicate his name after satan challenged him in the garden of eden.
if you tell me that god is loving, than you cannot also state that he would allow an earthful of people to suffer starvation, cancer, war and countless other atrocities simply so that he feels better about being challenged.
he's god -right?

My Beliefs on Spirtualism
by Vincent init was suggested by someone to share my beliefs on spirtualism ever since i left the jw i no longer believe what the bible says.
however i don't do things like the occult or use a ouija board.
from the age of 11 i was interested in spiritualism through my brother who practiced out of body experiences, a lot of people have to see it to belive it really as many religions like the jehovah's witnesses says it is all work of satan aka lucifer, fraud or hoax.

Just don't allow the spiritualists to make you paranoid.
I've heard some rubbish - like burning red candles invites bad spirits etc. Sometimes they seem too worried about evil spirits.
I do think a person needs protection but if you pray and have faith, you are ok

by hamsterbait inmy blood is boiling.. jcanon has as much right to post here and express his opinions as anybody else.. if you don't like his posts then don't bother commenting.. if you find his posts boring than don't bother commenting.. if you don't agree with him, then say why with evidence.. if you want to back him up then say why with evidence.. this whole "who hates **** or finds **** crap is really just descending to the level of the kindergarten playground.. everybody here has the right to be heard listened to or ignored - but not put under a spotlight of disdain and disapproval from other posters.. if i had been mocked or put down when i first came here, i would never have come back.. jc lives on this earth just like all of us.
if he destroys his credibility or repels you that is his own doing.
