the word translated "his own day" at job 1:4 is the same word translated "day of his birth" in job 3:1. .

They whole argument on birthdays is weak.
1. There pagan... look around almost everything we do has pagan roots.. you cant just pick and choose to have the appearance of being different.
2 so there was a beheading at birthday party in the bible...oh better never celebrate birthdays.. so what happens if there was a bad act comitted at the kingdom hall.. maybe a molestation/assault does that mean you should never go to the meetings cause something bad happened once..
Guess i can have a weak excuse also for not going to meetings :)

there was an article in 2012 talking about them targeting the list.
how awesome would it be to expose over 23000 paedophiles in the org!!

How can people inside the org. not give up this information and make it public? I think it makes them just as guilty by hidding such info!! Thoughts? -

What always bothered me when i was a kid was sitting at the conventions and how they gave experiences of people how they had no money and a brother gave them the exact amount of money needed or a bag of groceries. yes they said jehovah provided for us!!! I was just like no that person gave u groceries because hea a nice person and he provided them for u cause he worked for it. Because how could god care about you so much that he intervened by giving you food but lets thousands of other witness die elsewhere. What always bothered me was a special on dateline i believe were a jw family coming back from a convention got murdered at a rest stop....why no intervention by god there but he intervened when someone was hungry.... makes no sense! -

by NVR2L8 inone of the businesses i cover is owned by jws and the father and 2 sons knew me as an active brother until 3 years ago when i told one of them i no longer attend the meeting.
today the father and one of the sons asked me if i was still inactive.
i told them it has been more than 5 years since i last been at a meeting.

They can call whatever they want but when you start grabbing cash from all the cong. And selling buildings etc.... it doesnt take a genius to see there is some kind of cash flow problem.... maybe its wishful thinking on my part.... no more org. means i can have a relationship with my family again!
