any ex witness from maryland ?

Our First Halloween

) very risky, considering we are still active in the cong..... so we started at the first house and methodically walked up and down each driveway as worked along the street.. we were quickly over-taken by kids who were zig-zagging across lawns and doing houses in random order.

suddenly, it dawned on me.

My roommate's father carved a pumpkin and although my first thought is to be weary or nervous around it, I didn't let it bother me. It's a pumpkin for god sake! I think it's actually cool. I've never seen the inside of a pumpkin, lol or been in the same house as a carved one for halloween.

This is definitely a year of firsts:

first celebrated birthday

first time voting for president

first time sending a birthday card

first time celebrating others birthdays

having freedom of mind and life outside the borg

I know very few JW window washers and cleaners

maybe these occupations are quoted to make a point, but it loses meaning when maybe 1% of brothers i know actually has these as jobs..

I know and elder who does it and highered on a MS to help him, lol. I don't think it's a stereotype because it happens quite frequently. I remember joking with my dad a long time ago about how most brothers did window washing and this was in the 90's. But that's as far as their education could lead them...

when i was a child i used to hope celebrities i liked (or wanted to boink) died before armageddon.

I never had the thought about hoping someone would die but I was glad that some seemingly kind hearted people had already died... as in John Lennon, Elvis, mainly celebrities, lol. My same thinking as a young person, lol.
