As far as doctrine not much just little bs stuff here and there that the masses will orgazem over as a sign of Armageddon coming. unless money starts really drying up or membership starts to take a dive.

New "Generations" WT Study Article in 2014??

Evidently Jesus meant generations. Professor I P freely of modesto jr college said. Generations..............can...........mean Lappers. Another noted biblical scholar from Oakdale middle school once said "my school year.......overlapped with summer school.......generation"

JWs took off from work in 1975?
by skeeter1 ina friend of mine is an electrician supervisor.
back in 1975, one of his employees was a jw.
the jw was so convinced that 1975 would bring the end of the world, that the jw took off from work (like, the first week in january) and sat on the top of a north carolina mountain waiting for armegheddon.

Transfusion Experience from France
by Bells inlong story short - my in-laws know that i strongly disagree with their blood doctrine.
i received 3rd degree burns as a toddler and without blood, i would have died.
no doubt this is much of the reason that i feel the way i do.. my mil sent me an article, saying that i might find it of interest - in other words, it is an example to 'refute my contradictions about blood transfusions'.

What Was Your First Experience In Exposing Yourself To "Apostasy"?
by minimus inas a young teenager, i would look at "apostate" books at the city library.
i was always intrigued as to what was sooo bad and other than a few writings of some that seemed like they hated the witnesses, i would clandestinely look at literature, especially in "christian" bookstores.. it took years for me to finally disconnect.
i will say that ray franz' books enlightened me the most!.

With me it was hundreds of pin Pricks. My dad was non jw and i always felt something as a teenager saying something aint right. I started having more problems when the elder I worked under was caught by me stealing from our company. I was then told by my employer it went back years. Wait I thought he has only been an elder recently I think 1 year. then reporting time had me doubting after reading Matt 6:1. What blew the door open was at the library (something I loved to do before the internet)and seeing David reeds book Jehovah's Witness answered verse by verse. With my hands shaking i took it along with other books to hide it. Then started reading. Still kinda thought back in 1993 could this book be true. There was a reference to COC. Found it and that was it.

when i was in we went to a rv by the kingdom hall then drove 30 minutes out to the country to knock on a door then back to the city for one more door.

For some reason I don't ever remember being told how I could count time. I Rember some counted from when they left their house until they returned. I loved the bus stop dump.

Time was one of the things that caused me to awaken. I was out with pioneers and the whole purpose was how many hours were needed. We would as mentioned drive 30 minutes so the pioneer could get more time. Julia do you have the article on time keeping. I am sure Jehovah blessed the writing.
