My was along the same lines. Do you believe that this is god's spirit directed organization as taught by the governing body. So if you answer no they can quickly end the meeting and get to important stuff like 14 year old girls confessing their little sex stories.

Ellen Gould White (born Harmon) (November 26, 1827 – July 16, 1915) was a prolific author and an American Christian pioneer. She, along with other Sabbatarian Adventist leaders, such as Joseph Bates and her husband James White, formed what is now known as the Seventh-day Adventist Church. In February 1845, White claimed to receive a second vision which became known as the "Bridegroom" vision in Exeter, Maine. Together with a third vision where White reportedly saw the new earth, these visions "gave continued meaning to the October 1844 experience and supported the developing sanctuary rationale. Additionally they played an important role in countering the spiritualizing views of many fanatical Adventists by portraying the Father and Jesus as literal beings and heaven as a physical place."[17

From what I have read somewhere some of his followers begain to say christ did return invisible in heaven. I think it was a women who claimed to be a prophet and had contact with Nelson Barber. Has anyone else heard this?

Fiddler I notice one thing from your article. Several businesses and I am assuming most must be worldly are coming together to raise funds for a proper burial and notice one was completely absent that of the corporation of Jehovah’s witnesses. It is funny how no matter what, the church just turns the other way and says "nothing to see here" more service, more donations to us and nothing for this poor woman. I thinks I see a lot of new lurkers from Oregon.

Capital punishment, are you in favour of it ?
by smiddy ini certainly am , providing their are strong arguments that the perpretrator of the crime is guilty beyond any reasonable doubt of the crime he/she is charged with .. i am not religous ,however i do agree with a life for a life principle ,especially if it involves multiple victims.
somebody killing x amount of people, proven of course , have no right to live.
of course with murders of one victim their can be many scenarios which the courts of law can adjudicate for whatever an outcome.

No I actualy am not. One time in my life I beleived in a false god and would have let my child die by not taking blood so I do not feel I have the right to take a mans life. In Iran you can be killed for insulting their muslim god. I am sure the governing body would love to have that power over us evil apostate's. I think I would make an exception for mass killers like the GB. I feel like a witness again saying one thing in one sentence then saying the exact opposite in the next :)

Oh the witness mind. I had one at the door so I asked about the blood policy. She went on and on about how we shouldn't take ANY blood the bible says so. I aksed her if a little murder was OK? Then asked if blood was so wrong why can JW's take blood fractions. She then says she doesn't believe in that and had to get back to her car group. Apostate 1 Witness 0.

Yes she does and really old magazines that talk about Doctors tracing their roots to the magic practicing Priest of Eygpt so don't trust them they are pagan and dont take vaccines. Really you can't make this stuff up.
