The "truth" that I got 19 years ago is fundamentally different than today...
Thus, in the future it will be fundamentally different, that is how cults survive...the JW's will always be here, it is just their beliefs will evolve and change.

Why Armageddon Now?

correct me if i'm wrong, but in the bible does it not state that the word would have to be preached throughout the entire inhabited earth for a witness to all people and then the end would come?.
with the world being as vast as it is today, it would be practically impossible for the witnesses to speak to everyone in the world.

There is the scripture that says the Son of Man will arrive before the entire circuit of man is preached to thus the WT says that not everyone gets a personal witness but Jehoover will decide when the preaching work is done to his satisfaction.
In other words, nothing to worry about since he doesn't exist.

You wouldn't bet your life on their teachings? But that is EXACTLY what is required of a dub.
You must obey the current teaching...organ transplants, blood, blood fractions all have changed and have life-damaging consequences yet what is taught must be obeyed.
Remember, you must obey even if it appears from a human standpoint as unreasonable.

16 Since the heavenly resurrection is orderly, “each one in his own rank,” it is evident that the earthly resurrection will not create a chaotic population explosion. Trolley Stands Up, Door-to-Door Work Down?

several posters have described trolley settings as largely ignored by passersby and/or the witnesses immersed in everything other than appearing ready and waiting to make contact with passersby.
what impact will this increased shift to trolley work have on the hallmark feature of jws, their door-to-door work?

The door to door work will finish if you are a believing dub...it will finish when the Great Tribulation starts...of course we know that will never happen but to a dub they firmly believe tomorrow might be the last day they do door to door... -

What is more impressive than the call itself is the amount of people who think it was not a good idea.
I enjoyed the call very much...but I thought it was a poor decision to do by Cedars considering his standing in the exjw community. He has just lost a lot of credibility.
After having a few issues on other exjw forums for posting similar views that are on here I'm at least satisfied that others share the same view I have.

@undercover posts above is cracking and is entirely my point...
3 years ago I was mentally in...I looked at these sites but thought "dirty apostates"...but I read Cedars site and his site was free from any bitterness or any detection of personal anger against anyone in the org or the org itself...he simply stated facts and evidence and that really helped me go learn more and then get out.
Another person today in a similar situation as I was back then will take one look at Cedars site now and run and think "dirty apostate" because he loses credibility with calling GB members name, posting log blog posts about their talks and now prank calls.
Cedars had none of that 3 years ago when he had to remain behind John Cedars because he himself was not technically out.
Now that he is he certainly seems hellbent in joining the mass other of exjws who have sites and YouTube video's attacking every facet of the org...he doesn't seem to realise he has the ability to tap in and help someone make the first and hardest step and that is that God is not directing the organisation...don't get me wrong, the more sites and vids the better but the plethora of exjw sites and vids out there ONLY reinforce the fact that God has nothing to do with this org thus you must already be at that point to watch their vids and get benefit from...
If Cedars doesn't want to help those then fair enough but there are a severe lack of sites that can assist...his WAS one of them but now he has lost it, his internet ego is growing by the hour...I'm really put off by a lot of his recent blogs and vids, especially about AM3.

Lloyd Evans aka Cedars was a figure on the internet that reported things in the JW world with a clarity and neutrality that made it so that dubs went to his site. He never posted anything that could be construed as negative or personally attacking the faith or individuals.
THEN he came out, he publicly DA himself and then revealed his true name and from then on he seems more about promoting his site and videos rather than do what he actually did. He has degenerated into a bitter, mentally diseased apostate who attacks the person of GB members and now writes/speaks things that are easily identifiable as apostate.
He has lost the one thing that was truly unique to his site...he is now just a joke...it's all clearly gone to his head.
I'll think I'll delete my internet favorite for his site.
