  Well when you do "the math" of the kings of Babylon from the Insight book and get 587BCE as the destruction of Jerusalem yet they say it was 607BCE then it is hardly surprising they cannot do "the math" with their finances.

  Confused though.

  In the UK we recently read an exdub won v the WT and payment was set of £275,000.

  But that exdub was not fighting to change the policies of the WT, just that they were at fault.

  Candace on the other hand IS fighting to get them to change their policy thus why would she accept a settlement, she is not in it for the money but to change the policies...thus the only way she could accept a settlement is if the WT are going to change their policies.

  Or am I wrong?

  i have noticed when an elder or ms gets in serious trouble, many times it's simply a demotion.

  local example.

  well liked ms son of a prominent elder/pioneer gets caught doing the dance with no pants with his fiancee.

  Yup it happens.

  We had a young MS who was daddy elders pride and joy caught going to a nightclub...daddy elder asks me if it is true of which I said yes as my flatemate, a study at the time, worked in the nightclub told me...nothing happened.

  Another MS goes to the same nightclub but not daddy elders son, instant demotion as a MS with public reproof.

  FusionTheism said point 6 was from the talk Gerrit gave but I actually meant a source for the change in preaching message during the GT and Gerrit discusses no such thing but he does talk about the "4 years" thing which is also part of point 6 hence the confusion.

  Thanks for the references...although point 6 I've never ever seen written by the WT, now a GB may say it in a talk but in the past they say things but they are never written so they it can never bite them and make them look an ass, as Rutherfprd once said.

  But the internet has captured what the GB said, what is the scriptural proof that the preaching work continues during the GT but that the message changes to one of "your doomed"?

  EDIT..I just watched the 15 min video by Gerrit...excude me as it may have been my mind switching off but at what point did he say that the preaching work changes from one of Good News to one of judgement?

  If you can tell me the time in the video that would be cool, I can't stomach to watch it again.

  Summer Convention at Twickenham now gone, UK

  i believe this is the first year that the uk wont have a summer dc at this historical old rugby stadium (which is now one of the finest arenas in the uk) the costs to rent it must be astronomical these days, and it appears they are having multiple dates at the excel arena in london plus milton keynes is being used , many memories for me from a baby onwards making the yearly trip there, the dusty old stadium, the long walks to the car parks, working on the field security, getting burnt to a crisp or being poured on, binoculars !

  food tickets, meeting at the lion gates checking the talent, and on the final day drinking the local pub dry the barny arms, end of an era!

  Well we normally went to Perth in Scotland but now go to Glasgow because it is cheaper but I too made the trek down to Twickenham a few times...it is indeed a lovely stadium.
