I read the apology from Ray Franz in the 1980 WT and I must admit it is not really an apology...they just admitted the GB gave the impression that 1975 was the end...
Are there any other instances?

In recent times, when new light has been released by the GB, it is not a refinement of the old light as CTR said it would but the new light makes the old light invalid or just plain wrong. If the old light is wrong who got it wrong?

(Either way they are goosed, if Jehoover got it wrong who wants to follow that religion, if the men got it wrong then you are following men who get things wrong and you cannot trust what they say, ESPECIALLY if it appears as not sound in mind)

Need the hardest evidence possible that humans have lived for more than 6000 years
by ILoveTTATT2 insince coming out of the witnesses, i have gone through a transformation in thought and in mind.
i started with the usual: i thought that jesus was god.
then i investigated more about the bible and thought that the bible was not true, given the many contradictions, failed prophecies, etc.. then i investigated evolution and read lots and now i accept evolution and natural selection as things that are true.. now, i need to make my dad rethink everything.

Jw kids setting off fire alarms in hotels
by purrpurr ina friend of mine is staying at a hotel next to one of the big convention sites this weekend.
yesterday she tells me one of the hotels had to be evacuated and the fire brigade called when the fire alarm went off.. it turned out to be a bunch of jw kids having a prank.
she had been speaking to the hotel manager who told her that this happens every year and only when the jw's come to stay!.

I saw at the Convention in Scotland many young women, married and unmarried wearing very revealing skin tight clothes...
I saw brothers wear skin tight suits, some in positions of authority...we arrived an hour before it started each morning and struggled to find seats with one person booking 40 odd seats for others which is not supposed to happen.
I got stood on, whacked by a wheelchair and had many attendants gossiping away ignoring help that was needed by others...
And they say JW's are the reflection of Jehovah...well he must be a right dick then.
