Well they admit in the Feb study mag that the GB err with doctrines and are not inspired.

So does the Almighty God Jehovah make mistakes, or is the society NOT his spokesman?
by stuckinarut2 inthe society claims to be jehovah gods sole channel on earth - his spokesman.. if any witness disagrees with this claim, they are branded as an apostate and punished.. but the society has made countless errors over the century, and repeatedly changed doctrines and beliefs.
not to mention the appalling foundation teachings of the organisation's teachings!
so a simple question: is god making msistakes and getting things wrong, or is this proof that the society is not guided by god?.

"The G.B. is neither inspired nor infallible"
by smiddy inthat admission in the feb.17 ,study edition of the watchtower , " who is leading gods people today ?
" "the governing body is neither inspired, nor infallible, therefore it (they/we) can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction .".
have the many jehovahs witnesses past and present who have lost their lives by refusing blood transfusions due to the prohibition on blood tranfusions by jehovahs witnesses really got the sense of this statement ?.

Thing is...they have now said, IN PRINT, that they can make mistakes in doctrines and organsational matters.
So how can then now expect ANY dub to give 100% allegiance to the org like they demand?
If I was still in and disagreed with something and an elder told me to "put trust in Jah and follow his earthly organisation" then I can now turn round and say "why? Because they might be wrong" and the elders will be unable to do anything.

When has WT doctrinal errors resulted in deaths and abuse of JW?
Well...in 1969 the WT said that organ transplants were a disfellowshipping offence...they reversed it in 1980.
Thus for 11 years IF you need an organ transplant to live AND wanted to be faithful to the WT you HAD to die.
Now, it is a conscious decision since they changed it.
Thus, in those 11 years lives were lost because of a wrong doctrine from the WT.

Do they actually say in print:
"" Who is Leading Gods People Today ?" "The Governing Body is neither inspired, nor infallible, therefore it (they/we) can err in Doctrinal matters or in organizational direction ."Because you can therefore not trust ANY doctrine from them...including anything life altering. That is mental if they have come out and said that.

by WTS Archive intl;dr: if you live either in scotland or in other parts of uk and you don't mind traveling, you might be able to help a fellow ex-jw by being present during a courtcase where she alone has to face more than two dozens of jws who have ruined their business.
please contact me directly for details on when and where the court case will be held (i will know these details in few days probably).

It was never, ever, a warning work, was it?
by jambon1 inmost witnesses i knew were exteeemly reluctant to go out in the ministry.
but when they did, they were simply scraping by, eager to avoid conflict and just do their hour or so speaking to lonely old ladies or widowed old men.
placing magazines in a car group, doing route calls, plodding along in the utter boredom of their responsibility to get some time on a report by the last day of the month.. this was never a warning work.

I'm of the opinion that 60-70% know, or act like, it is not really the truth and the "the end" will not come in their lifetime yet it is a social environment that they are in that would destroy them if they left.
Thus, 60%-70% of each cong just does their bit...an hour here or an hour there...goes to a meeting etc...the rest maybe believe it more and are pioneers/elders and put a bit more urgency in but let us be honest...and I used to make this point in elder meetings when I was in...IF it is the truth why isn't everyone a pioneer and busting their guts? Surely a few years doing that to show almighty jehoover you love him is the best way to do so to get back everlasting life?
The fact many do not shows they don't really believe it to that extent. And therein comes the lack of urgency.
Honestly, how many in your old cong can answer, without reference, how they get to 1914 using the bible? Very few, they do not know their own doctrines well enough...it is a way of life, a social group...closed...that is the attraction rather than the religion itself.

Dundee is a shithole and I'm surprised there are 25 jobs in the place.
Only go there to watch my football team but indeed it is a bit of a hellhole!

We had a Polish brother in our congregation who was a bit contentious and some said paranoid. For example one time he found a bottle in the KH cupboard labelled "Polish Remover". He finally started attending a nearby congregation instead, although he still lives in the territory. True story.
Haha now that is quite funny!

Whilst the story does seem strange but the fact that wifibandit has vouched for the OP seems to lend that the story is not at least fake or a troll post.
I'm sure the OP doesn't see how strange the story seems hence the replies on here but do not take offence at it.
That said it would still be nice to get all the facts...we await that...do you know if the case is being held in Dundee courts or Glasgow/Edinburgh? Do you know which date? Is it just one exjw person involved?

So getting disfellowshipped sounds kind of great.
by schnell ini grew up in this religion, i was baptized at 14, married at 27, and now i'm 31. i'm also evolutionist and atheist.
i wanted this to be the truth.
i spent years as an apologist trying to reconcile everything.

4 years ago I told the elders I was having a few doubts, I didn't want to discuss it and wanted to be left alone...true to that they haven't bothered me and I'm just faded, dubs still talk to me when they see me.
DF/DA causes more grief if you have still-in family. So I just follow the advice of the GB Mr Jackson at the Aussie Commission where it is best to just fade.
