The Lloyd video was good but I want to hear more about what the Mag7 are actually doing back with Lloyd with their lawyer.

New light on shunning?
by Mikejw inone theory why tony was booted out was because he was a stickler for not changing the shunning doctrine.
he actually said the words we will never ever change it.. they are slowly deleting all of tony’s videos and now losing court cases and losing government hand outs in places like norway.. it’s looking very likely they will release new light on shunning policy after losing this latest one in norway.. .
what are the odds they coincidentally get new light from jehovah and lighten up their shunning policy ?.

Well its hardly rocket science is it...reason they get defunded in Norway was shunning of kids and they adjust it.
I think most of us expected that...perhaps just not so blatantly obviously so soon.

NEW LIGHTS regarding d/f'd JW's!
by BoogerMan injw's can now talk to disfellowshipped friends & relatives, in order to encourage them back to the k.h.
and to welcome any d/f'd ones who turn up at the k.h.. https://www.jw.borg/download/?docid=1112024005&langwritten=asl.
remove the b in the borg.

You still can't talk to them at length or normally socialise. All you can do is say hello at the KH or invite family/friends who are DF to attend again.
It literally isn't much but will get them past the "we don't encourage 100% shunning" when they are up in court.

Explain the Anthony Morris thing to me
by optimisticskeptic inok, so can someone explain with relative brevity what the anthony morris thing is all about.
i certainly don't miss the guy but would like as valid of an explanation as possible without a bunch of paranoid conspiracies that no one can verify.
as best as i can tell from cryptic comments on here is he is no longer on the gb but in a congregation in the carolinas somewhere.

Given the raft of changes coming out of the GB it is pretty safe to assume that said changes AM did not agree with and was the reason he is no longer a GB...or at least a factor in why he isn't...along side his closet gay stance and love of alcohol.

A simple rebuttal to the recent 'Last Minute Repentance' change.
by nicolaou infor decades, critics have pointed out the unfairness of god slaughtering billions in a future armageddon who never even met a jw much less heard their life-saving message.
(remember the contortions around the collective responsibility of nations?
) also, why do babies and children have to die simply because their parents rejected the witnesses?

Slim, that just says they don't know much like the new light. The principle has always been "be killed by an event caused directly by Jehovah then you have been judged".
But sure they leave it open to the bloke living on a small island during the flood gets wiped out because of it and he never heard Noah may he get a second chance? They say maybe.
But still doesn't change anything at Armageddon where ALL who do die at the hands of Jehovah are dead forever...the new light suggests the same bloke on an island may simply survive Armageddon because he would react favorably if he heard.
This does not equate to the nonsense that billions survive Armageddon...well its all nonsense really but the GB just make it worse.

I remember this being discussed in the late 1990s. They pointed out (I think at a convention) that the difference between dying in the flood and dying at Armageddon is you may get a resurrection if you died in the flood but not if you died at Armageddon. Therefore the fact children of unbelievers died in the flood (so the reasoning went) does not tell us whether or not children of unbelievers may survive Armageddon.
Nope...died in the flood meant you were dead forever as you were executed by Jehovah directly as a judgement. Anyone executed by Jehovah never gets a second chance.

t is clear they are saying there is no difference between those alive at Armageddon to everyone who has died throughout all of history.
You keep missing the fundamental difference. Those who die before Armageddon get a second chance, those executed at Armageddon by Jehovah do not. The new light does not alter Jehovah's execution of people at Armageddon...all it does is allow some to change their mind at the very last minute and possibly be saved.

What you think consequences gonna be for watchtower if they lose the court appeal in Norway?
by Hellothere inpersonally i think they gonna realise god's not backing org.
that idea gonna get even more established in their minds.
i think the real selling of kingdom hall gonna start then.

Surprised they lost and it seems to be the DF of minors and the impact that swung it.
It's a risky game if the WT appeal it and go higher because if there was a chance to lose that then all they have done is highlighted to a further audience the issues.
Didn't I read Slovakia are away to do the same?
Interesting times for the WT legally.

it’s looking very likely they will release new light on shunning policy after losing this latest one in Norway.
That is a hell of a leap to be honest. It may be a possibility but to say "very likely" when there is no basis to it doesn't make sense. Why is it "very likely"?
It would be monumental even larger than billions may survive Armageddon 2023 AGM new light.
This is nonsense, you have misread the new light. Billions will still die at Armageddon according to their current doctrines.
