They couldn't say it stops...as they use the scripture about preaching THEN the end will come...if they say stop then the end comes...and we know it won't thus they must perpetuate the myth that it needs to be preached.

Will Governing Body stop preaching work?
by neat blue dog inat this year's annual meeting (2016), david "mark" sanderson asks the audience the question, "are you determined to keep on preaching with us until we say the work is completed?
" to which they respond with applause.
do you think that stopping the preaching work will ever be a part of the gb's long range plan?

I feel really, really sorry for those born into the Jehovah's Witness religion
by jambon1 insome facts that make the difference between you and me:.
1 - as a person raised by non jw family, my parents have never loved me based on conditions set out by a group of old men who they don't even know.
how does it feel to know that you are in the unique situation where your parents brought you into the world and said 'i'll show love to you.

The disappearance of the Special Committees
by Hecce inas a part of the wt judicial arrangement, for many years there was a sort of review procedure called special committee; basically if a person was not happy with a decision or a particular situation they were allowed to write a letter to the society raisin their concerns.. the majority of these complaints were answered with a standard letter with the counsel of “leave matters to jehovah”.
in some instances the matter was serious enough to warrant the need for a special investigation of the case to be done by a special committee.. at one time the travelling overseers were part of this arrangement; eventually they were dropped out of these cases due to the fact of their tremendous input on the decisions and also the implications when a wrong decision was reached.. the reason behind this procedure was that in matters that were really complicated it was not fair to make a decision based in letters and the clearest way was to have “boots on the ground”.
normally a group of local brothers, appointed for this duty heard the cases and make recommendations to the branch.

It has not ended....those DF can appeal and these committees then get together...they can be different elders but usually they are from a different cong to the one that did the DF.

Had a few missionaries? One US one that was single a few years ago...bit of an arrogant guy if I remember correctly.

Didn't Charlie boy use a scripture in Hebrews to say if this work fails so be it but if not then leave it alone because God is backing it?
So why all the demand for money if God is backing them?

Do you believe that Jehovah is using the Organization today?
by Iamallcool inany elder has never asked me that question so far but i want to be prepared to answer that question if any of them ask me that question in the future.
i hope that they will never ask me that question.
any suggestions on how to answer that question would be very much appreciated.

The answer is no...according to the Feb 17 Study WT.
They admit that they are not inspired and can get things wrong. So Jehovah has nothing to do with the org.

Many of the near 8 million JW's believe in one concept...that the GB/FDS and God are somehow connected.
Therefore, no matter what the GB say it will always be right...even when they say they can be wrong!
Honestly, the GB could say whatever they want and no-one will question it and it will be followed.

Really don't get how you think they are not going to believe in a paradise earth from those comments.
Paradise earth is the carrot that keeps them all going.

If You Could Ask the GB Or One Of Its Members...
by Cold Steel in...one question about anything and get a straight answer, what would it be?
historical, philosophical, theological, eschatological, anything.

If God directs you, then why does God have bad days where he makes mistakes?
Because either God gets things wrong, or you don't speak for God...
The Feb 17 Study WT has, in writing, that the GB admit they are not inspired from God and can get things wrong.
