The story is completely goofy, and makes YHWH appear to be a bungling boob:

YHWH is supposed to be a great judge of human character who reads men's thoughts, but he didn't know about that little "evil in the heart" defect?

...salomon...forgive me for saying this but, YOU sir sound like a bungling boob...were it not for God you would not have the choice to express such elementary ruminations...

...here is a thought...God is god...and he can do what he well pleases to...

...he's done it since the beginning...and he will continue to do so... we, on the other hand...are left to express incomprehension for his motives and logic... ....he MEANT to do that, you know?....

recently i talked to someone i care about who is in the jw group and stated i feel that believing billions of people are going to die when armegedon comes and only a jws will survive would be unloving of a god.

the response is one that i've also noticed others have experienced.

in short the answer is something like the following: "we don't believe that, only jehovah can read hearts.

And to repeat, if it is officially written that people can be saved outside of the JW group when Armageddon comes (despite not having the symbolic mark of baptism, despite somehow failing to respond to Jehovah drawing them, despite not responding to the good news or knowing about God), then this is a direct contradiction of what they write in other current-light articles. If both types of views are considered current-light, then this is a contradiction of epic proportions.

...sorry to dissapoint you my friend, but the same accusations of contradicitions are made at God himself...remember? how can a God of Love...allow....(this)...and...(that)....

...without a very important little word that starts with the letter 'F' you WILL continue to suffer from head spinning migraines...if you cannot handle the subject of 'religion'...then 'religion' (no matter which) is not for you...

...wrong...you are proof of this...you don't concur with this statement... therefore it is not absolute...its merely an interpretation...

...remember Paul (again, the Bible)...he was convinced of one thing...and based on the SAME teachings he converted... he interpreted the same concept in two very different ways...

...jgnat...there isn't, no matter how hard one tries to find such backing...you will never find it...i'm finding that many here have lost sight of this little but hugely important fact...again, it's a religion that teaches spiritual concepts...it's not mathematical science with absolutes...

...even Jesus with ALL the proof he presented (if you happen to believe that the Bible is truth and factual)...was doubted...

...it is what allows ANY religion to change its doctrines or 'set in stone' teachings over and over and over...its up to you to keep up and accept...IF you want to...

According to them one HAS to be associated with God's Organisation to survive"

...tornapart...the publications teach many things...who the 144000 are, 1914, sacred secret, etc etc...

...they teach it because they CAN...spiritual things are just that, spiritual...here we are, you and I, of the same religion...and can interpret these teachings differently...why? because its not arithmetic, where the answer is only ONE...

...guess what?...the same 'concept' is taught in all other religions...do this or do that and be saved, otherwise...

...what religion will you chose?...its completely your own decision...

knowsnothing...I most absolutely do...and your first question is a question that can only apply to me personally as only I know what I understand...for proof, answer your own question as I'm sure you differ from me...

Perhaps yes if all humanity was in complete agreement to this idealogical concept and was morally better than any imagined deity
