Hell Exists
by Poppy520 inmany people of all denominations are beginning to believe that hell does not exist - but the bible supports the claim that it does.
examine this verse, one under nkjv and the other nwt:.
nkjv - matthew 25:46, "and these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.".

In Philly, when it was cold, we did driving territory and had coffee breaks.
There would be no way I would stay stationary in a Minnesota winter.

Not all spiders...just the deadly ones.
Since I live in Brazil, this means the Brazilian Wandering Spider: as big as a tarantula but with fast motion and reflexes. Very aggressive too! They are found in my city but we haven't crossed paths yet.I'll probably faint when we do hehehehe.

Remember the story of Aʹchan...
One person can get his whole family rubbed out by Big Jah even though his family was innocent. And the example of Aʹchan was about pilfering a small amount of gold, silver and a robe.Imagine how His temper tantrum will be against the JWs posting on this forum and mixing with us so-called apostates. They and their household face the same consequence.

"People always say that there's no other organization on Earth like this one. No one has the peace or love that we do."
Welcome to the forum!
Which people say this? Only those within the JW org.
What peace do you mean? The child abuse policy? The cliques? The feeling of never doing enough?
What kind of love do you speak about? The constant gossiping and backstabbing love? The do-as-we-say-or-get-disfellowshipped type of love? The conditional love? The shunning love? You have an entire, amazing future in front of you IF you begin to live for yourself. You will find true happiness if you really seek it. The JWs are happy, not because they truly are, but because they are told over and over again through indoctrination that they are a happy people.
So, don't say you're happy. Instead, simply BE happy. Live YOUR life. Enjoy every second of it. You deserve it!

A WTF Moment While In the WTS
by Searching inhas anyone else had a moment, while still within the organization (and before learning ttatt) that caused them to stop and go, "this is kind of messed up.".
for instance, back i believe in the early 2000's, i was attending a dc with my family.
it was announced at the beginning of the convention that there was going to be a special announcement at the end, so for everyone to please try to remain until the very end of the meeting.

We had a terrible flood in the suburbs of Philadelphia back in the early 2000s (before 2004).
At that time, our main KH funds account (I've been gone so long, I don't even remember the name) had over $40k (U.S.) in it. Even so, there was a special needs part about helping those within our congregation who were affected by the floods, asking all of us to chip in.
It was a WTF for me because I was thinking about all that money sitting in the bank (and it had been steadily growing as they announced the balance every month) and here were were, being asked to dig out of our own resources to help out.
I was happy to help out without the need of being prodded into doing so. What ticked me off was the elders asking us to help out when the account had all that money sitting there.
Anyway, I didn't have much money but I took the whole family to a shoe store (DSW) and bought them all new shoes (mom, dad, and their 4 kids). I ended up overdrafting my account in the process.

Ah, yes...Rules, Rules Rules of the JWs. Some are clear cut. Some have gray areas. Most, however, are in place to make the Witnesses feel guilty about everything and, in the end, the average JW will simply err on the side of caution so as to not feel guilty.
Example: Smoking is not allowed in JW land. Neither is playing the lottery. However, tons of JWs work as cashiers at places which sells these items. The JW cashier handles these items every day, literally touching the items and handing them to paying customers. But, I have never heard of a JW quitting this type of job due to feeling guilty.
But if I were an active JW and tried to purchase a lottery ticket, I would feel guilty. Honestly, when the lottery had a high payout, I would secretly buy tickets, but I felt guilty. And then, when I inevitably lost, I would repent and vow never to do it again. Until I did. LOL!

I nodded my head in agreement to everything... Oh, wait, no...I was actually dozing and my head was simply bobbing up and down.
Then, each time the crowd clapped, I would suddenly waken and then seamlessly joined in without missing a beat.
