Finally confronted my mother...
by Caedes ini finally had the chance to talk to my mum about growing up as a witness and my thoughts on her religion, needless to say it didn't go well.
i don't think she has ever really worked out the implications are of what she believes, i pointed out that it is really difficult to relate to (and have a relationship with) someone who is looking forward to the day when her murderous little god kills her children.
i don't think she really understood the point i was making or didn't want to think about the point i was making.

when i heard the lyrics to this i thought it resembled my experience then when veiwing the vid i thought it definatly did.warning some of the vid might be a bit overthetop.. this is the sort of song i would love to turn up loud in the car and walk out of a meeting with the elders to.

nvrgnbk - Spot on! To top that, anyone who ever sat through a 4-day convention at the sweltering soup bowl Veteran's Stadium has to have a sense of humor, a very warped sense of humor!....or, at least the bastard's who scheduled us to meet there do.

I don't know you, but I know people who know you. When I rolled with the Dubs I went to Oreland, PA. But the Gehring's were prominent Lansdalians. Bill Gehring....the only elder I knew who would openly spit out cuss words and have evryone cracking the hell up!
