Au minimum à partir de 1906, il participa comme "compagnon" aux Chapitres (4ème - 7ème degré) du rite d’York (GRAND CHAPTER OF ROYAL ARCH MASONS OF KENTUCKY, Proceedings of the Grand Chapter of Kentucky, Royal Arch Masons. Eighty-Ninth Annual Convocation, Louisville, 1906, p.129 et 130). En 1909, le nom de "Grove, Frank A." est toujours répertorié dans cette loge (GRAND CHAPTER OF ROYAL ARCH MASONS OF KENTUCKY, Proceedings of the Grand Chapter of Kentucky, Royal Arch Masons.   En 1910, le nom de "F.A. Grove" apparaît pour la première fois dans les publications de la société Watch Tower. Il est décrit comme un des "Aînés & Diacres" de l’ecclésia de Louisville (JONES Leslie W., Souvenir notes Bible Students‘ conventions - 1910, Chicago, 1910, photographies après la page 114). Son adhésion au mouvement présidé par le pasteur Russell, remonte par conséquent quelques années avant cette date. Le 29 juin 1911, il participa à un symposium, lors d’une convention des Etudiants de la Bible, à Portland dans l’Etat de l’Oregon (JONES Leslie W., Souvenir notes Bible Students' conventions - 1911, Chicago, 1911, p.122). En 1914, il prononça un discours lors d’une assemblée à New Albany (The Courier-Journal, Louisville: Etat du Kentucky, 28 mars 1914, p.12). Au fil du temps, le "Frère Frank A. Grove" se révéla être un orateur zélé. Il dispensa régulièrement de nombreuses allocutions dans les congrégations proches de son domicile: Louisville, New Albany et Indianapolis (Sources non exhaustives: The Courier-Journal, Louisville: Etat du Kentucky, 5 octobre 1913, p.30 / Indianapolis News, Indianapolis: Etat de l‘Indiana, 29 juillet 1916, p.19 / The Courier-Journal, Louisville: Etat du Kentucky, 15 décembre 1927, p.4). Il demeura un conférencier de l’organisation I.B.S.A. au minimum jusqu’à l’année 1929 (The Courier-Journal, Louisville: Etat du Kentucky, 27 avril 1929, p.12).
