I agree 100%. The ones that just stood by and let this happen should be held accountable.
It seems that they are not alone though. I consider it my job to protect my children. Shouldn't that be God's job too? He didn't just suspect these people, he knew exactly what was going to happen, but didn't feel it necessary to protect them.

some of you have read posts here, and on other forums, in magazines and newspapers, and maybe watched tv commnetary that alleges president george w. bush is less than brilliant, perhaps under-qualified for office, etc.. evidence seems starkly missing from these allegations.

You know a lot of people are have been criticizing Bush since he was elected. I didn't vote for him. I didn't vote at all, because I didn't like either candidate. As noted, Bush isn't really all too bright.
Honestly though, I've slowly gained respect for him. I think his being "not too bright" has made him more human in my eyes. Even on CNN they were saying that when he just ad libs the speeches as he goes, he seems to come across much more powerful. I'm sure that over half of the people reading this will disagree with me, but I think he just might surprise everyone.
How he handles this disaster, can either make him hated by all Americans, or praised as the greatest president in our history. That's a lot of pressure. I'm personally betting on him being a great president. In all honesty, can you imagine if Clinton was still in office? Deep thoughts. LOL

As far as telling your parents what you have learned, you have to be very careful. I presented a couple of things to my parents recently. I heard through the grapevine that they are telling people that I am crazy and have some wild ideas. What's so bad is that the only thing that I presented them with was the 607 BCE issue. I simply asked them to prove that Jerusalem's fall was that year, without using the WTS stuff. My mom said that she would, but she never did. And now I hear that I am insane. huh. LOL
Anyway, just proceed with caution, and try to slip things in casually. Or say something like "You're not going to believe what someone told me the other day" and then it becomes someone elses idea's and not your own. Good luck, and once again, welcom to the board!

I have a real hard tome believing that pot has any chemically addictive properties, when I can smoke an entire quarter ounce through a gravity bong in just one night, and then not even want any for a couple of months. I've never heard of anyone going through withdrawals from lack of weed.
I've read so many ignorant responses on this thread. It's amazing to see how easily some of you can be duped by propaganda. But then again, you were also duped by the WTS. Irresponsibility raising children, has nothing to do with smoking weed. Weed shouldn't be illegal, stupidity should.

I have an aunt that left her husband because he smoked weed. Yet she drank. In my opinion drunk people are worse to be with than stoned people. My opinion on drugs is no secret here. Ask yourself why you are so upset by it? Is it the legal aspect of it or is it just because it's weed? Society says marijuana is bad, yet alchohol is ok. Makes no sense to me at all.
Personally, I can't imagine leaving my spouse for any reason. Especially for smoking weed. Is your husband lighting up a joint and smoking it right in front of your kids? That, I could understand pissing you off. If not, then maybe you should re-think things. The leave-it-to-Beaver lifestyle is not for everyone. Did you ask him if that was the kind of life he wanted when you married him? Or did you know he enjoyed these things then? If so, then how can you be surprised now?
Sorry for my attitude, but I just don't see the justification for letting this ruin a family. Especially with what's going on in the world, breaking up your family over weed just seems petty and stupid.

Absolutley. Unfortunately, innocent lives have already been lost. They don't attack our military, they attack innocents. I firmly believe it's time to fight back. I would have no problem whatsoever, killing anyone that could orchestrate this horrible tragedy.
