yes, i know the gb is putting all of their chips on 1914 but if you stop and think about it for a moment.. we are seeing jw history in the making for the next jw generation of 2114.. first they teach a date as significant.second, when it becomes obsolete, they come up with a convoluted explanation of how it really was significant, just not in the way "some believers" once taught.third, it becomes a historical footnote, as in: "bible students at one time thought... but now we see... evidently... .

the next generation of jws (100 years from today) will be talking about 2014 as the year of great expectation, and how close the end is in 2114. yes, when jesus spoke about this generation evidently he was talking in a symbolic way, and he was truly referring to the generation class.. .

my dearest daughter-in-law, whyamihere (brookie), just had four of her wisdom teeth yanked out this morning.

she is heavily sedated (as usual) and is thrilled to have legal narcotics available to her every 4-6 hours.

she even looks cute with wads of cotton stuck in her cheeks.. please send her some love!.

there is nothing like sucking on crawfish, sipping on a cold one, squishing mud between the toes and getting to know new friends as the rain falls and the people take their clothes off in front of the camera.

Wow what fun! I miss everyone so much already! I was SO glad to meet people in person finally. My flight was delayed leaving for home so I sat in the airport bar drinking a few beers and shedding a few tears. I can't wait to see yall again. Maybe one day in the new system!!!!

WOW! I forgot I posted this here! I was seriously on some very heavy drugs 24 hours a day back then. I gues I posted this and just faded away again. I'm really sorry to have worried anyone. The words I've read from you guys here really warm my heart, and I sincerely thank you so much.

Just to give you the rundown of everything that happened: My paranoia was greatly enhanced by the drug use. I was however the victim of a pretty mean joke and my private life was made public to humiliate me into coming clean. I had never felt that kind of pain or humilation before and I thought I was going to lose my mind. I went on a trip across the country and sort of rediscoverd myself. You'll be glad to know that I have been clean for over a year, and have recently started my own business building staircases. For the first time ever I can say that I am truely happy. Thank you so much for the loving words and encouragement. During a time in my life when I felt as if I had been disfellowshipped a second time, I had you guys and didn't even know it untill now. Thank you.

Good to see you Ballistic. Yeah I dissappeared into a hole for a while. I've just just resurfaced and oh my there are 3 discussion forums now where all of my old friends are spread out! I don't really recognize any names here anymore though. It's kind of sad. I miss the old bunch. Although I'm sure there are some great people here now!
