what films and tv shows couldn't you watch when you were a witness kid?.

i remmember being banded from watching scooby doo, ghostbusters ,e.t., (some british ones)count duckula, rent a ghost, well basicly anything with ghosts in it.. my parents wouldn't watch any films with much swearing in them, especially the f-word.. which is fair enought.but i don't notice swearing so sometimes i recommend a film without realising its got lots of naughty words.. sometimes a very sensitive brother from the hall would come round to visit, and he would be visably shocked if there was any sex or swearing in a tv programme which often made it embarassing when watching tv when he was round.. once when we had some friends round and we got waynes world out on video, a couple of the brothers walked out as they thought it too worldly.

You Brits did you miss Top of the pops?
It was on a thursday night, and I only ever saw it if I was ill and home from the meeting.
I remmember being ill in the early eighties and Hitch hickers guide to the Galaxy was on, I saw the first two weeks episodes , but had to go back to the meetings the next week.
I was gutted , I never did see the end.

"up to three quarters of sex offenders are regular members of church congregations and religious groups, the victoria climbie* inquiry was told yesturday.. church leaders fear the figures have been inflated by peadophiles using congregations as a hunting ground for children.. they warned the hearing into the eight year olds murder that children who attend places of worship need greater protection.. david pearson, director of the church child protection advisory service, accused some churches of offering "lax and irresponsible" care for vulnerable youngsters.. churches therefore should be at the forefront of child protection and many have highly developed child protection policeies".

Just found Watchtower letter.

i just found a letter i had lost , that i had recieved from the british bethal a few months back.. valuable stuff here.. an admision that they were an ngo .so when i tell people and they ask me to prove it i can show the letter, if i refer them to web sites they will switch off.. anyway here is a intresting statement.

"a loving christian is certainly ready to believe those who have proved trustworthy in the past.

"the faithful and discrete" slave have certainly proved true to its description by faithfully discharging its duties, and so fully merits our trust.".

Anyway here is a intresting statement

Notice how they confuse love and trust.
You could love someone but know they are unreliable .I do not need love to trust people but evidence.
They also imply that if you do not trust the society you are unloving .
Plus the obvious.
The "faithful and discrete slave" have NOT proved trust worthy in the past.
