Do you think it is the fact that Jehovahs witness do a very obivious preaching campian, that convinces them that it is the true religion.When all the doubts you can think off have been raised they seem to just say "well we are the only ones that do the preaching work". Without the preaching work would it be harder for people to cling on to the religion, what else could they fall back on to convince themselves,it would be very difficult.

president are both supposed to be actively religious i wonder how big apart there religious outlook plays in the decisions they make.
being non-religious myself i would be keen to see, no influence at all, but the only countries that have put that into practise are the communist ones, and we know what happened there.

The Israelis operated differently to the mandate. The various USA governments have supported Israel to a far higher degree in resent times than any other nation.This I believe is down to the fact that many presedents proffess to be christian as do a large number of Americans and believe that the Israelits have some right to that land.Whereas Europen leaders and people tend to more non-religious and view Israel as an invading army.What is important is what is happening now in our lifetimes.

I think a better measure of generosity is how much it hurts you to give money away. If I have a million pounds and give away 500,000 I still have plenty of cash. If I have a hundred and give away 50 I'm buggered.

So maybe religious outlook is good in politics. But than look at Israel a country that bases its existence on the first few chapters of the Bible. If other countries leaders were atheist how would that affect their attitude toward Israel.If Israel lost this support would the Arab nations fundamentalist factions view Israel?s allies so badly and pose such a threat to world peace?
