Skinnedsheep: Whoa, you could be right. Ive had the feeling for a few years that theyve been gearing up for something bats**t crazy (even by their standards).

Im kinda scared to go now...

i was just remembering this teaching--that a mythical woman ate a piece of fruit 1000s of years ago after a snake told her to, and that's the reason we have menstrual pain.. you see, the bible says eve was cursed for her sin with painful childbirth.

hence we can make up extrapolate that this includes menstruation, which is just part of childbearing.

then we can make up extrapolate that this applies to all females in the entire human race today, because according to a loving god we should all share in her sin as we all have vaginas too.. i remember crying in total agony while i was insulted comforted by having this scripture and explanation read aloud to me, and thinking how much this knowledge drew me closer to jehovah made me realize what a misogynistic wackadoodle cult this was.. thor causing thunder is more plausible than this.. if dubs take midol, does that mean they are scoring jehovah's lesson?.

Head coverings yet again in the latest KM

my husband just gave me the latest km the novermber 2013 and it yet again has a question box on head coverings.. question box "should a female publisher wear a head covering if she is accompanied by a male pubisher at a doorstep bible study?".

it says "when a female publisher conducts a reagular, scheduled bible study and a male kingdom publisher is present, she should wear a head covering.

(1 cor 11: 3-10) the july 15 2002, issue of the watchtower page 27, explains: "this is a prearranged session of teaching where the one conducting the the study actually presides.

YES DATA-DOG!: "The GB are Domestics when they are alone, but THE FDS collectively, even though Jesus' used a singular word for Slave"

Yeah, pargraph 10 caught my eye where it says "That word "slave" in Jesus' illustration is singular, indicating that this is a composite slave"...WTF? They didn't even bother to offer any support for that extrapolation.

Also:

"No other JW, partaker or not, can feed another human spiritually. ONLY the GB can. Why? Spiritual food is narrowly defined as the information in the WT magazine and books published by the WTBTS."

And yet they are careful to point out that the publications are not claimed to be inspired of God. 'Oh and we are not a cult because we do not follow humans.' (compare Reasoning Book "Are Jehovah's Witnesses a sect or a cult?" with well, really all of this article).

Sooooo... "We DO NOT claim to be prophets or divinely inspired. Whoa! No, not at all. That would be cultish. Look, We are just saying that we are God's only channel for providing information to people. DO YOU GET THE POINT?"

OH!! And whats the deal with "All belongings"?....

Paragraph 17-

"Jesus did not qualify the word "all," as if to limit his belongings to earthly things. In fact, Jesus has vast heavenly authority."

Are they suggesting they will also have authority over the angels?!?

Wow, the sheer audacity of these guys kills me.

The whole tone is so belittling. Check out how they answer the opening questions two pages latter in a box that says "DID YOU GET THE POINT?!?!" ("Fine, we'll spell it out for you! you stupid little nitwits!")
