These people will never learn. The government needs to do something beyond fining this organization, they have the money to pay it, and they refuse to learn from their mistakes.

It's definitely a risky move on their part... but from everything I've read on this forum and seen in my research, Jehovah's Witnesses run, literally sometimes, when they hear anything that challenges their beliefs in the slightest, and I'm sure they'll do the same online. They've got a very fragile sense of self.

Just a Rant .......
by LOLS inhi beautiful people ..... so today is my wedding anniversary ....... .
and first of all my dear husband forgot again .... which is normal according to my dear old dad "it's a man thing " .
but to add insult to injury , i must wait till friday to be taken out for dinner , because low & behold my jdub husband can't miss one bloody jw meeting !

dubstepped, I'm sorry to hear that. My father never made much time for me either (although I was raised in a fundamentalist Baptist church) so I get what it's like...
He also got so beyond in child support once that my mother wrote him a letter telling him my brother and were about to go to college and she needed the money. He wrote her back and said something like, We had a missionary at our church and I wanted to give them some money but because I'm paying so much in child support, I just forgot about it.

Nope. They didn't. The only apostles who New Testament authors claim died as martyrs were Peter (obliquely referred to at the end of the Gospel of John) and James the son of Zebedee (in the Acts of the Apostles, which originally also claimed his brother John died with him, according to the Catholic theologian Alfred Loisy).
Any other references to the martyrdom of apostles or disciples comes from late 2nd and early 3rd century "Acts of (John, Thomas, Peter, Matthew, etc.)" literature, which contain little more than pious legend. Have you read any of them, knowsnothing1?

have you also noticed a strongly similar pattern of behavior among the watchtower leaders (gb) and the president of the usa?

JW Gone Bad, they're definitely declining, no doubt about that... But I would be surprised if they don't keep going for a lot longer, just with less Witnesses, less hard copies, less Branches and Kingdom Halls, etc.

Yes, Donald Trump suffers from exhibitionist narcissism, and Jehovah's Witnesses as an organization has a collectively narcissistic culture, so their pretty similar. I can explain what I mean by that.
