Diogenesister,
It would be freaky if they accepted the "theocratic" idea of an exjw. "Jehovah works in mysterious ways" 😉
is it still watchtower dogma that the seven trumpets of revelation refer to seven conventions in the 1920s?
would many jws these days even be aware of this?
i find it so amusing that seven little conventions in the distant past, almost a century ago, could be equated with such an iconic biblical passage.

stuckinarut2,
That is what I was hoping for... when I was in I always wanted that job 😉
2 pioneers of the opposite sex.
the brother is in his mid-20s, sister is in her late 20s.
both are alone in car as the only 2 out in field service.
Let's carry on this topic. So we have a variety of cases so far. There must be more! I'm intrigued in more field service related ones. Surely a brother and a sister in a car ended up where they weren't allowed to or funnier, the whole car group became a witness orgy or wife swap case...

I know why "missionary" position is the approved sexual position. It sounds more "theocratic"...
i have noticed in the uk a few families i used to know while in the borg have exited together.
some include former elders and ministerial servants.
i observed on social media pages that the kids have 'worldly' boyfriends and girlfriends and they look so much happier than they did in the org.
Ps. It's pomo. Stupid autocorrect ; -)
i'm sure many of you are aware of the jwtalk site, a message board which has yet to succumb to apostasy (give it time).. some of the forums there are visible to the public, and i've seen some crazy stuff.
here is a sampling:.
"satan is really trying his best to make things worst for the witnesses, knowing the 6,000 years is almost up, from eve's creation!".
Additionally, asking for your congregation may seem like an invasion of privacy, but actually it's a scare tactic to make you tell the truth. They wouldn't contact the elders if one of their members did something bad on site, otherwise the elders would turn round and ask questions about the forum and send a letter about the caller to the Branch. They'd be done for.

All I can say is, all the admins on that forum are plain sh**. They even have a part on comfort, consolation and recovery that is only available for ADVANCED MEMBERS. So basically, if you need emotional support, you must be good and keep commenting nice things for months on end before you're promoted.
I signed up for a laugh and asked what the organization's view of dreamcatchers was. I pretended to have a strong jw viewpoint, giving plenty of sources to back up that it was connected with demonism. Guess what? They treated it as a conscience matter, played elder by ignoring clear evidence that they would use to ban such a thing from their congregation if they were me... it was nonsense. Basically, the site is only there for leaks. That's what most jws on there are there for.

LongHairGal, couldn't have said it better myself.

steve2,
I avoided specifics for reason of preventing compromising privacy. But I will say I have witnessed at least 5 families leave within the last 2 years.

Stan Livedeath,
No, although I have exited for a while, I can't reveal the areas for reasons of lurking still in family or old friends.
