The heavenly/earthly hope bifurcation has to be one of the stupidest things they teach. The memorial, where everyone basically just passes the bread and wine over, is one of the stupidest things they do. Basically it's a great "reject Jesus" celebration.

Evolution simply explains how the millions of species alive today, and the tens of millions that have gone extinct, all descended from a common ancestor through natural processes, including but not limited to, natural selection.
Evolution does not attempt to explain ultimate causes, cosmic origins or the dawn of life
So many people just don't get that. They end up merging it all together.

i keep hearing demands for equal rights but don't understand what rights they are missing exactly.. normally a march is to show the support (and potential votes) for a cause, but ... votes for what?

Sure the standard model doesn't fit in dark matter. But Newton's theories work very well empirically under ordinary circumstances but they don't explain other things. Maxwell's theories explain electromagnetism quite well without encompassing the weak force or gravity. Incomplete that's all but for most things, it works.
Of course, we're assuming dark matter exists. We once thought ether existed.
