  i'm writing this tread for the people out there that are still looking for some kind of answers.

  people who feel the void that any organized thought system can produce.

  people who know there is more to this life than our daily routine which eventually will end, when we no longer exist.

  You really don't have to go to Peru to do it. You just need a MAOI and DMT. Caapi vine and psychotria viridis is a traditional combo, but there are others that include stuff like Syrian Rue, or you can do it with synthetics AKA "pharmahuasca."

  i'm sure that christian apologists could invent all kind of reasons for jesus to enter such a temple, but this story also.

  begs the question, as to why so many jews were waiting in that temple for asclepius to heal them?.

  Lots of pilgrims back then. Needed ritual Jewish bath before going up into the Temple.

  i’m curious how many people believe in god?

  Agreed. According to Peck's model, I think most JW's might be at level two. Most of us who have left are at least at level three.

  Not a game Minimus just a perfectly reasonable question.
  Many people who claim to believe in god actually have in mind a vague, nebulous notion of some - hopefully benevolent - supernatural being. Others are thinking about an imminent god who answers prayers, observes everything that happens, cares about who we sleep with and how we do it and who is going to punish those who don't return his 'love'.
  The difference is so profound that asking people if they 'believe in god' is a meaningless question that nobody should indulge without further explanation.

  There's an old poem that's tangentially related to what you're saying. It's about blind men and an elephant.
