Fisherman: It reveals your attitude.
Quite true. I believe that the government should not protect religious organizations at the expense of the safety of children. I also believe that religious organizations cannot use these rules to pretend that their hands are clean, even as they hide behind those same rules in order to protect child rapists and fail to help their victims (and in some cases, victimize them even further). You appear to think that this is... misguided?

Be aware that some call-in shows will screen callers beforehand. Callers who sound angry or who explain that they want to confront Evans about his misbehavior may not get through. But I would assume that there will be an open chat window which will only restrict high-volume spam comments. And, of course, there are the comments on the video itself.
If you do get through, avoid screaming or sounding aggressive. The interviewer may use that as a pretext to cut the call short and avoid a messy exchange. Be calm but assertive, and ask the questions as matter-of-factly as you can. Keep the questions short and direct. That way, if the caller is cut-off or dismissed, the question has been asked and it must be addressed or ignored. Either way, people learn about it.
Best case scenario: he avoids or ignores one or two uncomfortable questions, then abruptly ends the interview when he realizes that it's heading for disaster. And we end up with another comical mess that he and his most loyal followers must deal with.
assuming that you don't dismiss genesis outright as a collection of myths, i was musing about the actions of god as recorded in genesis 11:1-9 regarding the building of the tower of babel.. this origin story for the multiplicity of languages in the earth has god getting annoyed with humans for staying in one location instead of filling out across the whole world.. yahweh could have stopped the tower being built by collapsing it by means of an earthquake, sinking sand, or an extreme gale.
even using an angel to kick it over when everyone was tucked up in bed asleep.
but no, instead he muddles up the vocabulary and grammar and made brand new languages creating division and confusion.. what's more he didn't scatter them and send them off in mixed multicultural groups, but instead he lets them wander off in tribes and family groups.
Genesis 11:6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.
God, after wiping out almost all life because humanity had become so cruel and brutal to one another, now takes action to prevent humanity from coming together and reaching its full potential. Clearly, humanity was not a threat to God, so this was done entirely out of spite and to ensure more suffering over time.
Tell me again about free will.

Fisherman: Nobody wants the aggravation of getting legally entangled.
The sad thing is, I think this is exactly the WTS's attitude. Never mind the hundreds, or thousands, of children who have been and are being abused and having their lives tragically ruined... we don't need the hassle of dealing with it, or even of letting others deal with it.
They hide behind the same cheap technicalities as other churches, even though it goes entirely against the nature of the God they claim to serve and represent. If they choose to let God sort it out, what do they think He will do to them for their horrifying behavior and attitudes?

LMsA: He cannot walk into an office in Manchester, go on about how he made YT videos for the past decade and expect to receive an offer of employment that does not involve cleaning toilets.
He can't mention his YT activism to anyone he hopes will employ him. In fact, he'll have quite a time explaining his employment history. Even a half-hearted attempt at checking his background would lead down a rabbit hole of accusations and videos and, finally, his own disaster of a confession livestream.
So, either his prospective employer must accept a large and unexplained gap in his work history, or decide if they will hire a guy who admits to lacking control of his penis, a problem that he 'solved' by paying for sex regularly. His prospects for getting any sort of decent job seem very dim, and that's before we consider whether there is anything he is actually competent to do.
jehovah's witnesses believe that only 144,000 go to heaven, where as the bible teaches us that all who come to jesus can!
nothing in the bible for 144,000.. the bible teaches that salvation is not through religion, works, self righteousness or human effort.
but salvation is only through the person of the lord jesus christ.. feel free to watch below.
Rattigan350: Thus, those going to heaven will serve as God's administrators.

I think it's being done to shine a light on the problem. And, possibly, to put a strain on the organization. If WTS is working to protect child abuse just to maintain an illogical and silly rule, then the approach may be to make it as costly and painful as possible to continue to do it.
The WTS will fight this with every resource they have, especially time and money. It is likely that this will move extremely slowly through the courts, and it will seem as if no progress is being made. But I think that, even if the WTS prevails in blocking this (and it might), it will be publicized and their resources will be drained. And not just money-- imagine any elder with even half of a conscience, realizing that they're fighting so hard to protect traumatic child abuse. How many will walk away? How many will talk?
in reading about the 54 year old man being shot, i was wondering if any of you were ever shot at, or threatened with a gun.. i was in a car group where a woman came out waving around, telling us to get off her land.
in another situation a man told the car group to turn and leave or he was calling the cops.
.
I guess we got lucky, considering how many years we went door-to-door in the South Bronx and the projects in the 70s, 80s and 90s. No guns, no threats of violence. Well, one pair of boys confronted me one time, but they didn't really seem like the type. One of them mugged and postured, and I just kept staring at him, unimpressed. His partner slapped the back of my head and both ran away, giggling. They were young and not intimidating, so I just sighed and went on my way.
Another time, we knocked at a door and waited a minute or so, then left. As we were walking away, the homeowner came out, waving some magazines and complaining that we wouldn't leave him alone. Apparently, some pioneers had worked that block during the previous week, and I guess the extra visit was one knock too many. He didn't do anything aside from yell at us, so we left and decided to work another area that was hopefully not as recently worked by careless pioneers.
Other than that, we had the occasional door slammed in our faces. But I was never in a situation where I felt frightened or intimidated.
