I have a fear that there is no national leader of the caliber of a MLK to keep on message and prevent looting. Looting is counterproductive period. I would have no problem with a peaceful march demonstrating for social change. Sadly many have co-opted protests for their own less than honorable intentions.

The data quoted is not mine it is the FBI data. It refers to the total hate crimes committed in the US. Again the FBI data demonstrates that whites have committed more than all other races combined. I contend that the sheer numbers of crimes committed has contributed the most to social unrest.
I further reiterate that all hate crime no matter what race commits it adds to social unrest.

I agree Simon many therapies are complimentary. Wearing a mask and social distancing work together to make you safer. Washing your hands and not touching your face also help.

I am confused as to where your getting your information ! It would seem the FBI actually says that indeed whites committed more hate crimes than any of the other races combined. Please in the future back up your contentions with true data.
I looked at the FBi website and this is racial breakdown of perpetrators of hate crimes.
- 53.6% were White
- 24.0% were Black or African American
- 12.9% race unknown
Other races accounted for the remaining known offenders.

I disagree Simon white supremacist are a significant problem also. The largest loss.of.Life in the US due to domestic terrorism was perpetrated by a white supremacist. That was the Oklahoma bombing

I still think the rioting and looting is counterproductive, however I don't think any extremist group should get a pass for criminal behavior.
